After the holidays and at the same time moving to a new place and all that come with it, all I want to do is to take a vacation or relax with a hot cup of brewed tea and something really easy to make to go along with it, lucky enough for me this week the Roses Alpha Bakers baking cookie 's this week. making these cookies was so easy and fast,I had a hard time to believe so I caught myself checking the recipe several times making sure i didn 't skip any ingredients or step. to make the cookies I used unbleached cake flour as substituted, and 3 different type of chocolate all by guittard; %63 and milk chocolate chip ,rose recommended for a melt in your mouth and to subtle the sweetness from the milk chocolate chip i add 100 gram of
Soup Joumou I woke up to a text message from my mother with precise instructions on where to purchase all the groceries for this year’s Soup Joumou. When I arrived at my local supermarket, I took out my phone to look at the grocery list that my mother sent me, I walked up and down the various aisles, and was at the super market for an exhaustingly long two hours. I collected 2 cloves of garlic, 2 scallions who had already been sliced. I also got dried thyme, one medium sliced shallot, 1 scotch bonnet chili, already stemmed and seeded, I got lime juice, of course I wouldn’t hear the end of it If I forgot the salt and pepper.

Meet my Jazz band. This is a picture of us in New Orleans my junior year during spring break to play Jazz. I decided upon this picture because this band has had such a profound impact on how I frame my future. My connection with music through the piano has been fostered ever since I could reach those shiny black and white collection of keys. Starting at the age of four, playing the classical music of Mozart and Bach was what my musical background was founded upon, with tangible medals and accomplishments as achievements.
On a cold and blustery November morning, I was walking around the Newberry farm searching for the perfect pumpkin. The farm owner, Mr. Johnson was welcoming and incredibly kind to allow me to wander wherever I wanted to on his farm. While walking, suddenly, I came upon the most perfectly shaped pumpkin. It was big and round and I knew it was Mr. Johnson’s best.
With my Cajita I would like to express myself as a person who is going through changes and a journey to becoming the best person that I can be at this moment in my life. Since I realize I didn’t have a meaning to life and all my hard worked was mean less since I didn’t have a true purpose for my hard work. I realize that life don’t have to be so complex and that we must find our own path even if people don’t agree with our choices. Therefore, my three artifacts that going to be in my Cajita will representing my journey of change and symbolize me truly fallen in love with myself for both inner and outer. So, my three artifacts are the Bible, kickboxing hand wraps, and hair pick.
I can feel my phone vibrating up against my leg, which makes me want to drive my leg down even harder onto the gas pedal. When I got a chance, I checked my phone to see who it was. Sure enough, it was my girlfriend, Kendall Ciantar. She had called me and texted many times. It seemed to me that she was getting worried about me.
Seventeen Acres There had always been one week every year that was very special to me. It would start out as a joyful car ride and transform into a long, eventful road trip. The final destination that we would arrive at sixteen dreadful hours later was a warm, petite home located on seventeen acres of property in a little town known as Smithers. As my parents, younger brother, and I pulled up in the driveway, my Papa would be ready to greet each of us with a warm hug. We didn 't see each other often, therefore we made the most of the time that we had.
As a child, my house sat atop a hill located in northern Ohio neighborhood. The small town I lived in had a diverse population between the people like me and the modern Amish culture. The town was quiet, the busiest time being the weekend, where the local farmers market was filled with people selling their homegrown fruits and vegetables along with homemade quilts, dolls, and jewelry. Uniontown, Ohio was a beautiful place year round, the trees changing to wonderful reds and flaming oranges during autumn, and the humongous Evergreens covered with heavy snow in the winter. I enjoyed that scene for nine years before my parents decided to move our family across the country.
I burst into my household at the finishing moment on the day that concludes school. I told my “salam” Which is farsi for “hi”. I peered out my bay window like a cat trying to catch a mouse. I saw a heap of people I had never met outside, implanting plants into the ground. They were like surgeons, giving their patients heart transplants.
1 I woke up monday morning with the one thought in my mind - Rye Neck. We had gone all the way last year to the section final with them, and after me hitting the pipe in the final minutes to win it, they scored on the counterattack and won the the section. I had never experienced a loss like this one. I was the kid on the team who before the season started, no one really knew if I was good or not.

I have always been a rather outgoing person when I am around my peers, but it used to be a different story for me outside of school. I never went out of my way to talk to adults because I had this
Not as a student, an adolescent, but as a man. As a child, I would be shy when it came to meeting new people. Especially if the people I were to meet are women. Immediately, my face would turn cherry red
