Power Power is the ability to do something or act in a particular way, especially as a faculty or quality. Power is the a man made weapon designed to destroy man. Men have constantly been developing more powerful weapons since the dawn of time just to outclass one another and be on top. World wide tension is built on who has the most powerful weapon and who can build an even more powerful weapon next. In the wrong hands, power is catastrophic. When I think of power being used for the best, my mind doesn’t go to Politics or War, it goes to The Amazing Spider-Man. The whole Spider-Man character is built on one phrase: “With great power, comes great responsibility”. For more than 50 years that one phrase has compelled Spider-Man to do great things. His powers were given to him by accident and once he had his powers he had no noble aspirations, he originally tried to use his power for personal benefit. …show more content…
He knew because he had the power to stop people from being hurt by wrongdoers. He had to use it for good, and he couldn’t let something like Uncle Ben’s death happen again. Having powers didn’t improve Peter’s life, it made it worse, he still gets bullied, but now his bullies have super powers. He still has relationship problems, but now he has to juggle relationships and a social life while saving New York from super villains and criminals. The most captivating thing about Spider-Man is that when he doubts his powers or wants an easier, normal life, he quits, only to come back out of guilt for letting his Uncle Die. He can’t be separated from his powers or guilt so he has to use power for good to drown out the guilt. Spider-Man is a kid playing super hero using power, making up for guilt, he doesn’t have to, he wants to. He wants to make a difference. This is why Spider-Man has and always will be the greatest superhero ever produced by a

All humans intend to attain one unexpendable resource throughout their lifetimes: power. Power is the motivator of all activity regardless of socioeconomic background, personal identity, or character. People without power determine to do whatever is necessary to obtain power. The influence of power can be seen in the drama film Crash. Officer John Ryan, a racist cop with a sick father, uses his authority to abuse minority suspects.
The story Miles Morales: Spider-Man by Jason Reynolds takes place in Brooklyn, New York. Miles is a high school student currently enrolled through a scholarship at Brooklyn's Visions Academy. Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is an animated superhero film that tells the story of Miles Morales, a teenager who becomes the new Spider-Man after being bitten by a radioactive spider. The original Spider-Man first appeared in 1962. Peter Parker was a high school student when he was bitten by a radioactive spider, which gave him superhuman strength, agility, and the ability to cling to surfaces. In the new film, Miles must team up with other versions of Spider-Man from different dimensions to stop a powerful villain named Kingpin from using a device that could destroy all of reality. Miles Morales succeeds as a remix of Spider-Man because he represents two cultures without relying on commonly-used stereotypes.
The hero has to decide between his love or the rest of the people in New York. Osborn has got Spiderman there because MJ is something that means a lot to him. He uses her as his weakness in his plan, but Spiderman refuses to fall for his
In Spider-Man 3 he stopped a car from falling down off from the webs that venom made he also stopped a dump truck from falling. Odysseus Is a strong man he takes down beasts I would say he is stronger in the mind than he is with strength. He took down Spider-Man has the motive of revenge. In Homer’s and the Grimm Brother’s plays/stories are filled with loyalty, maliciously, cavalier, and combat. All from different stories but contain the terms of heroism by rules of the archetypes filled with fearlessness, strength, commitment, and courage. Very much relatable to Spider-man, he carries all of the familiars in heroism.
Because “Spider Man possess the Spidey sense”(Spider man), this would give him a winning edge. The Spidey sense allows Spiderman to quickly counteract to almost any attack thrown at him. Spider man also has “Superhuman speed”(Spider man). Superhuman speed allows Spider man to move very quickly and outrun Wolverine. Although Spiderman can run away he eventually will get worn out, allowing Wolverine to track him down and kick his but.
Spiderman is about a young man who goes from zero to hero, Spiderman, like many other superhero films. But this plot pattern is just the tip of the iceberg with similarities and symbolism in art, literature, and more. These patterns are called archetypes. If you can identify archetypes and what they mean, they can help you figure out themes in your story. One of the themes in Spiderman is that time helps you become the greatest version of yourself.
(ii) Power and Conflict: The capacity the one person has the influence over the other persons such that other persons act in accordance with his/her wishes can be defined as ‘Power’. Conflicts could be both positive and negative. Good conflicts could be encouraged but bad conflicts ought to be prevented.
From raging hormones to feelings of inadequacy, the teenage life is a mountain to overcome. This is especially true for a teenager who has superpowers. In Spider-Man: Homecoming, the protagonist is a fifteen-year-old teenager who wants to use his powers for the betterment of mankind, but he also has to play the role of boring Peter Parker. I will first explain how Spider-Man: Homecoming is a part of the teen movie genre, which will merge into several ideologies throughout the movie that are a common trope in the teen movie genre. For example, having a feeling that you are meant for something greater, asking a girl out to a dance, finding someone older to look up to, wanting desperately to fit in with the cool kids, and rebelling against authority.
Are laws and ethics different for Spiderman When Peter’s Uncle Ben told him in the clip that “with great power comes great responsibilities”, Peter did not know what his uncle really meant at that moment. Peter was originally using his newfound powers to make money, but after his uncle is murdered at the hands of a criminal Peter failed to stop, he swears to use his powers to fight the evil that killed his uncle (IMBD). “With great power, comes great responsibility” to me means, you are put in a position of having a lot of power, you also have a lot more responsibility than an average person who is not so powerful. From what we have learned about Utilitarian in our book; the harm that comes from letting the individual carry on his or her misdeeds or not forcing the individual to a public punishment may be greater than the harm that would come from the scandal of exposure (Pollock). Now Peter Parker has to become Spider-Man and take Green Goblin to the task... or else Goblin will kill him.
In The Amazing Spiderman once his grandfather was shot, it triggered
