I going to start this school year off right! I’m going to get a lot done this year and take my time, so that I can take in all the knowledge from my courses and I can move onto college courses. The first step I’m going to take is be on time to every scheduled appointment so that I don’t fall behind and I can get extra help if I need it. The next thing I’m going to do to be successful this year is to more work than expected not the bare minimum. Last I’m going to study hard for every expected test that I know I’m going to have to take. These are the things that I’m going to do to be successful this school year. The first thing I want to do to be successful this year is be on time and never miss a class. I don’t want to fall behind and I know sometimes I don’t understand the work. I know I used to be lazy in the past but that is beneath me and it’s time to move forward. I have something to prove this semester. By being on time and never missing a classes shows that I’m committed to get my work done on time. It will show that I’m getting all my work done with no excuses by showing up and doing my test as recurred. By showing up to every class I will gain the credits I need because without coming to class I won’t get the full credits I need. Without going to class I won’t be able to …show more content…
I’m going to get a lot done and take my time doing so because it’s going to be good for me in the long run. It’s going to give me all the knowledge I need to move on to college there’s always more information I’m going to need but this is a good step in the right direction. The first step is I’m going to be on time and never miss a class. Next I want to finish more work that is handed to me and expect to do, rather than just doing to bare minimum. Last I’m going to study hard for every test I know I’m going to have to take. These things are what I’m going to apply to my school year to be
I will make A’s in all my classes. 2/17/2017 I will use TCC electronic systems to help accomplish this goal. I will also have to set short and long term goals as well as practice writing essay exams. I will create study/homework blocks of time for myself and my son.
I also want to learn more about Social Studies, Math, Science, and ELA. My third and most important goal is to just have fun. I want to enjoy every minute of high school. My last goal can not be completed without doing my first two goals. Hopefully I will be able to achieve all three of my goals while in high school.
Next year I don’t want to procrastinate at all I want to get all my homework turned in on time with my best work. I want to have all A’s and maybe some B’s and a GPA no lower than 3.0. The most important thing I want to do is not judge teachers the ones that might look the coolest could total jerks and the ones who look really boring could be the best teacher I’ll ever meet. I hope in high school that I am a really good student and that the people in my grade actually start trying in school because I don’t want any more disappointed
In a family where no one has surpassed the first two years of college, I feel a spotlight is on me to not only finish, but also finish strong. I know how proud my family will be of my accomplishment and how rewarding it will be for me trying to obtain a decent job in the
Last year was awesome, but that does not mean I can’t fix a few things. My first resolution would be to get ready for school faster in the morning. When I wake up I am tired, and when I’m tired I’m slow. To fix this I‘m going to go to bed at 8:50 max on school nights.
Study hard in school. Be focused. In the end it’s your own responsibility to succeed. The teachers, the government and your parents can be supportive without you being supportive of yourself. The only one who can fulfill your responsibilities is you.
This semester has been an ongoing challenge for me but has been an enjoyable one and I have not been presented with any impossible tasks. I have never been much of a writer, and during the course of this semester, I 've struggled to meet length requirements on the assigned essays. However, I do understand that not everyone is an excellent writer or even has to enjoy writing to get a good grade in this 1A class. From the start, with the first essay, I pushed myself to do my best and looked to multiple outlets to polish my writing, such as the online tutor, the writing center, the internet and the writer 's handbook.
Finding motivation to attend college is easy, keeping the motivation to finish is the difficult part. I decided to enroll in college to earn my Bachelor’s degree in Business with a concentration in Finance. I hope that the degree will give me the opportunity to apply for a better position within the organization that I currently work for. A secondary goal of returning to school is to demonstrate to my son that attending college is required for many jobs and that returning to school as an adult has various difficult challenges. I have been working for the past nine years as an Assistant Financial Officer and am highly competent at my job.
High school has impacted my life in so many ways. High School taught me so many things, from personal relationships to creating a relationship with my education. As a freshman, I made a huge amount of mistakes and I regret doing foolish things, but I’ve realized, I was only maturing into the young adult I am today. Freshman year, I was out of focus and I was only trying to find myself. I would also prioritize other things and ignore my parent’s advice, where they would tell me to focus in school and give it my full attention.
Personal Narrative Essay Believe it or not, sometimes a gracious action can bring a huge influence on a person. When I read the introduction that instructor Heller wrote, there is a sentence she wrote: “Sometimes the most influential moments in our lives are smaller moments, events that we may not recognize as influential until years after the experience.” For some reason, I related to it strongly. My story is about my high school experience. Also, I will share some significant moments in my life, and how these smaller moments changed my personality.
Attending class is important so I don't miss any assignments and get behind. Being in class is important because its proven that students are more likely to succeed when they have an good attendance. I do much better in school when I don't miss a lot of days. It is very easy to get behind in class when I don't show up. I do miss a lot of school because of sickness but I am going to try and go even when I don't feel good.
“Academic success,” for me, doesn’t mean graduating high school with a 4.0 GPA and attending an Ivy League college with a ton of scholarships. Personally, the term “academic success” means being able to feel proud of my own dedication and the hard work that I put in. Having the end result ultimately be, walking across the stage at graduation; whether that be at my high school graduation next year or my college graduation down the line. I know I will have achieved the epitome of my own “academic success” when I am dress in a cap and gown and am sitting at either of my graduations. All I hope for is that I am able to attend a college I want to attend, have proud parents, and in the end, proud of myself.
I will work hard by studying everything I need, showing up to class on time, and as often as I possibly can, and making a great impression on my teachers.
High school grows you into the person you are. I have great memories, good and bad, some learning experiences and some that I’ll take with me the rest of my life. My high school experience has influenced my development as a person inside and outside of the class by making me more independent, choosing friends wisely and teachers motivating me to attend college and accomplish goals I have set for myself. I have gained my independence slowly throughout high school. The importance of being independent is being secure with who you are and what you believe in.
High School, currently I am a senior at Kealakehe High School and have been going to this school for the past 4 years of my high school education , honestly I like to think of myself as a hardworking lain back kind of person, when I am hardworking when I need to and chill and relaxed when I have no other things I have to do, Though my experience in high school I have learned stuff the lame and hard way by my laid back attitude in my first 2 years and have been using more of my hardworking side to catch up on credits in my last 2 years of high school. One of my strengths as of now is striving and persisting by hard work and actually taking time out of my free time to actually do my school work and study, though I may not do every single piece of work given to me, well that wasn't always my strengths in high school, cause I personally had
