I can adjust at any setting. I had leaded a group before and mentored some assistants. I always see to it that everyone will learn from me. If I am working alone, I see to it that my supervisor/client/boss is updated with the progress of my work. I can work with minimal supervision.

What character qualities do you think exemplify an NHS member? How do you personally exemplify these qualities? Give specific examples. Character qualities that I think exemplify a National Honor Society member are treating everyone as equals no matter your own personal preferences, wanting to further your education not only for grades, and exceeding in your ambitions even with extreme setbacks and struggles. Treating everyone as equals no matter your own personal preferences is a crucial trait for a member of the National Honor Society because a personal bias against a certain group of people changes many different situations and influences your own character.

National Honor society was established to recognize outstanding high school students. National Honor society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of academic success, leadership, character and service. I should be in National Honor Society because I think I represent a lot of the qualities needed to be in this organization. Throughout my years in high school, I have been very involved in the band program here at Langham Creek. As a freshman, I started out in Concert 2 band.
The people that share my hobby, that I spend all my waking minutes with, are the most generous, talented, intelligent, and loving people that you could imagine. These people have helped me grow into who I am as a person now, and are genuine people that I know I will maintain lifelong relationships with. The band that I willingly devote every spare minute of my free time to has come so far, and I have had the honor of experiencing extreme milestones in the path of success for this school. In my first year, we traveled to Bands of America Grand Nationals in Indianapolis for the first time in Round Rock Dragon Band history, and placed fourth out of nearly ninety bands.
What I have learned from experience and how it impacted me First and foremost, being in the United States Marine Corps for over 22 years I have learned a lot from experience. I learned just like in the military, in my civilian job now I am always on duty.
Being on time is one of the most common things you can find in any policy that is out there, whether it is for a job, school, and even the military. Being on time is one of the simplest of things that you can do to show that you have discipline, respect, and responsibility. This can also be one of the key factors that can hinder you from you reaching your goals, and completing any task that you need to complete. Missions and operations have many moving and connecting pieces that function together as a whole depending on a time sensitive plan. Being on time is probably the most common requirement in anything that you will do in life.

When making an appointment that is one thing that you should be aware of and an appointment is considered to be your place of duty when scheduled. The seven army values can be applied when it comes to appointments. Starting with loyalty you are saying that you are going to make it to your place of duty in return making you loyal.
The first thing I will like to remember as an RA is Everyone is different. Each person has a different background, personality and choices that I have to respect. I cannot force my beliefs or choices on anyone just because I am an RA Secondly I have to be fair. In dealing with my colleague students, I try to treat everyone equally especially in situations that involve violations of the honor code or general student guidelines.
It is easy to doubt your abilities and it is immensely helpful to have understanding, relatable friends/coworkers to turn to. I hope to be just like the returning RAs my starting year: open-minded, optimistic, reliable, honest, and determined. Being mindful of the needs I had, and adjusting to theirs, is important to me. “Lead by example” is my favorite type of leadership, because I feel that it is so effective. It means to be confident in your own values and decisions to lead without having to worry about teaching to others orally.
Throughout my high school career, I was forced into many situations where I was challenged to connect with my peers and serve as a role model for future students. Whether it be my involvement in the school marching band, or helping students in community tutoring sessions, I have always made it my goal to better the people around me through my own efforts. Throughout my high school career, I have put forth my best effort to connect with my peers, transform individuals, and make a difference in my community. Joining the school marching band at the beginning of my freshman year of high school was one of the best decisions I have ever made.
I have learned how to lead with honor and become confident in front of a team. It is very odd because I have never been someone to want to speak in front of large crowds, but I could dance in front of millions of people and feel at home.
