On the indicated date and time I Deputy Garcia #618055 was assigned to staff station 620 at North County Correctional Facility (NCCF) when I heard a loud thud which is consistent with that of fighting. I saw Inmate Lopes, Juan #3456712 (later identified as suspect/victim 1 (S/V)) and Inmate Henry, Chuck #2345678 (late identified as suspect/victim 2 (S/V)) on the ground by the day room punching each other on their face and torso. I put a radio broadcast of a minor 415 inmates in dorm 623 with my county issued radio (minor 415 is a common radio code in our facility which indicates a fight is in progress or just occurred). I also requested additional personnel, Sergeant and Senior to my location. I ordered S/V1 Lopes and S/V2 Henry to stop fighting and they complied.
Every Queensland police officer received a copy of the police manual. Within the pages, the authors addressed every contingency they felt a policeman might encounter. When first appointed officer in charge of the Cairns district in 1904, Inspector Durham instituted evening classes. Once a week, his men stayed after work for instruction on the manual and standard police procedure. Possibly Acting-Sergeant McGuire and First-Class Constable Murray missed the lesson dedicated to Page 92: Regulation 1 which stipulated strict abstinence from alcohol during work hours.

Located inside Loveland High School, in the old stage, is the place I spent every possible moment: my JROTC room. In my two and a half years here, I had accomplished so much through this program. I held various leadership positions (i.e. staff, color guard commander, chair for ball committee; I taught two freshmen classes how to drill, I helped out at multiple volunteer organizations (i.e. hearts and horses gala, highway pickup, Veterans’ breakfast, etc); I had become a part of another family. That little room became the place of my growth and compassion. It meant everything.
Room 213 is where you’ll find Mr. Munson’s delicate English Classroom. Your eyes might dart to the beautiful posters filled with mind blowing quotes or maybe the front of the room where you’ll see a handful of things and a great view from the back with a four cornered window in the center of the creamy white walls. Word on the street is that teachers are in awe when walking into Mr. Munson’s English classroom at Centreville High School. The decor is beautiful, the teacher himself compliments the room as well as Ms. Dowdy and the various colors also. When you turn the grey metal door knob on the thick dark brown wooden door, you’re in for a mighty surprise.

Could you ever imagine being locked up in an 11’ by 11’ room for seven years? In the novel “Room” that is what “Ma” had to do. Ma, who is the mother of “Jack”, was kidnapped when she was just nineteen years old, by a man know as “Old Nick” and then held hostage in “Room” for seven long years. Jack was born in “Room” and lived there his entire life knows no other place, but for Ma Room was like Alcatraz. Jack slept in Wardrobe, and was often woken up to the sound of Old Nick making creaky noises in bed with ma.
In E.M. Forster’s A Room With A View, sharp contrasts take the center stage between Cecil and George. Their stark differences are displayed through nature imagery, depictions of Italian and English culture, and foreshadowing to the relationships that they will have with Lucy later. George kisses Lucy without talking first or asking, showing his spontaneous nature and wilder approach to life, while Cecil makes a long and awkward show of proposing the idea.
