In this unit, I got to learn a lot about colonial America and the people of that time. I was both fascinated and appalled. When we learned about the way slavery was common, I was disgusted. Humans are so inconsiderate of one another! But at the same time, the Colonial Era was when scientific advancements slowly gained momentum. The printing press and electricity changed the world for the better! And the many religions formed are all interesting, seeing how they all differ in views. The people of that time were also very daring and brave to stand against the British. Even before that, in the French Indian war, they never gave up and managed to claim lots of valuable land. This caused difficulties later on, but we still managed to overcome
