Marketing is a concept that has been utilized for years by companies promoting products or services. A general more simplified definition of marketing is “The management process through which goods and services move from concept to the customer (Business)”. “Marketing management focuses on the practical application of various marketing techniques as well as effective management of the company’s marketing resources and activities (Marketing)”. Our course eBook defined it as “the activity, set of institutions, and processes for creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging offerings that have value for customers, clients, partners, and society at large (Talladega College, 2015)” The marketing approach that is most known is the four P’s. The four P’s are promotion, product, price and place. Although the four P’s has been proven effective, it does not cover the professional side of marketing. Also, it is not the form of marketing that is most favorable to consumers. Modern marketing includes concepts such as the value approach, marketing through social networking, and online purchasing.

Marketing is composed of four activities centered on customer value: creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging value (Talladega College)”. The value approach centers on customer experience. The goal remains the same as in the four Ps which is bringing in funds, however the value approach has a more ethical plan in place. “Market value is the price at which an item will sell, based on historical pricing information, in a predetermined period of time (Business)”. An example would be the slogan that has been used in marketing campaigns for years, “The customer is always right”. Jackson Scott is a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States National Guard, and has been serving for five and a half years. Jackson was born and raised in Greeneville, Tennessee. He attended Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia, and then transferred to East Tennessee State University in Johnson City Tennessee; where he received his degree in criminal justice. The school transfer was mostly because he wanted to be closer to his family and his now wife and my sister, Baylie Scott. Jackson went on to explain that he joined the military because he described it as his “sense of duty.”
It can be hard in Texas sometimes to get into the spirit of autumn in late September; as the rest of the country gets cold fronts and starts eating soup we are still rockin’ the high 80s and swimming on the weekends. With the perfect Canton TX lodging, a late September visit to East Texas is bursting with family friendly activities around the whole area. What better way to get into the fall spirit than with a state fair? The East Texas State Fair begins September 25th.
(CNN)Children and infants made up almost a quarter of those injured when a car crashed into crowds at the Oklahoma State University parade Saturday, killing four people including a 2-year-old, Stillwater police said. The car's driver has been arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence. Three adults were pronounced dead at the scene, while the fourth victim, the young boy, died from his injuries at OU Medical Center Children's Hospital, according to a Stillwater Police Department statement. Police named the adult victims Sunday as 23-year-old Nakita Prabhakar of Edmond and 65-year-old Stillwater residents Bonnie Jean Stone and Marvin Lyle Stone.
Cypress College is a community college located in North Orange County and it ranks third among California community colleges. What makes Cypress College outstanding is that it has a variety of student programs and services which can help students overcome hard situations. There are programs that provide learning and financial assistances such Disability Program, Supplemental Instruction Program, and Extended Opportunity Program & Service (EOPS). However, Library and Learning Resource Center (LLRC) is one of on-campus’s services that deal with learning difficulties. Therefore, LLRC can be useful for students to succeed their educational goals.
Illiana Christian High School has been providing students with a Christ-centered education for a long time. In fact, students that currently attend Illiana have grandparents that also attended Illiana. Over time, Illiana Christian High School has changed in many ways. At the same time, Illiana has stayed the same throughout the years. Illiana’s building, classes, and dress code are very different from the early 70’s, but its discipline policies and after school activities are still very similar.
Warrensburg Missouri, being a college town, is full of many opportunities such as joining Greek life, getting internships, and most impotently getting a college degree. Being the first to attend college in my family, I have been self-motivated to attend class’s everyday on a daily bases and even build time into my schedule to study for quizzes and exams. For the past four months, I have been attending the University of Central Missouri (UCM) in Warrensburg. Therefore, I have learned the highs and lows of being a college student at the university. Being a college student at UCM in Warrensburg has many lows.
Who is this man who is always praised loved, who was willing to risk his life to help others? First of all why would anyone risk their life for others, people they don’t even know? Regular people, most of us wouldn’t care about. Many people are only willing to care about themselves, their family, and maybe a few friends. Well Norman Bethune is not like most people.
Introduction In marketing there are two approaches: a 4-P (price, product, place and promotion) approach to marketing and the value approach (creating, communicating, delivering, and exchanging value). Initially the 4-P approach to marketing was used, but now people tend to use the value approach instead of the 4-P approach. Although difficult to do, writing a compelling value proposition is a vital part of marketing a brand. Until leaders can state why their brand has value, how can they influence customer behavior with targeted marketing? One of the basic purposes of a value proposition is to determine the benefits their brand has for consumers. Another key aspect of a value proposition is linking the brand benefits to specific features of the brand. Leaders need to take the time to view their brand from the perspective of their targeted customer.

Customers pay for value, and offering prices, lower than competitors, for the same benefits or creating unique benefits for higher price, creates superior value. A company implementing a strategy for creating value, different from competitor’s strategies, has a competitive advantage.(Barney,1991), thus, giving Amazon, a strong chance against its competitors. Petaraf and Barney (2003), stated that when a company creates greater economic value, it has an advantage over its competitors. Economic value is the difference of the perceived benefits received by the customers from the company’s economic cost. Although there are various ways of gaining competitive advantage without being the best in all aspects, there should be superiority in value creation (Peteraf and Barney, 2003).
Since the 'Marketing Perspectives' module has started, the author's understanding of marketing framework has been changed significantly. Now, the author is aware about stakeholders engagement, co-creation of value, service-dominant logic (SDL), holistic marketing concept, market segmentation variables, customer advocacy, positive word-of-mouth, evaluating marketing information, the role of branding in relationship with purchasing behaviours, 4Ps of marketing mix, new paradigms of marketing mix, relationship marketing, as well as using adequate marketing research and analysis methods, understanding differences related to purchasing behaviours in B2C and B2B markets, realising the role of ethics and CSR in the marketing practices, and developing effective marketing
Customer value could be interpreted in many different ways. It could mean a customer receiving what they desire, paying low prices, receiving good quality for what is paid or giving and receiving something in return. (Shanker, 2017) Always ensuring that a company creates customer value is essential. This will allow a company the upper hand on competitors as it keeps loyal customers and improves the brand name, gathering new customers to the business. My assignment explains what value is.
This is the comparison of the benefits offered by a company's product to its customers relative to the price it asks customers to pay. To do this, companies can influence the value proposition in one of two ways mainly. This can be done through long term brand building. They can also offer a relatively low cost to enhance value. Ultimately, the key is that customers perceive that the product's merits exceedingly justify its price.
Introduction At the start of this course, I had no idea what to expect. This is due to the fact that marketing is a field that offers a combination of so many different disciplines such as art, psychology, and statistics. I encounter marketing on a daily basis but have strangely enough not reflected too much about it. Nevertheless, it is a very interesting subject, which deals with promoting and selling services and products.
