Luke: The book of Luke is believed to have been authored by Luke himself. He is not named specifically but there is strong evidence to support the idea that Luke was indeed the author. The book is mainly written in a historical narrative genre, and includes his experience and observance of Jesus’ life. The date that the book of Luke was written is difficult to pin down for sure. It is believed that it was written around AD60, due mainly to the belief that acts was written after Luke (Hindson, 2013, p. 374). The main theme of Luke is that Jesus was the perfect sacrifice for our sins. He came in human form to rescue us from our own sins as Luke 19:10 says, “For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost”. We all deserve to be lost forever …show more content…

It is also neighbors with Greece, Israel, and the Sudan. Exodus is the main book of the Bible where Egypt is the central location. In Exodus, Egypt is the nation that has taken God’s chosen people into captivity as slaves. Then God sends Aaron and Moses to tell pharaoh to let God’s people go. After he refuses, God send ten plagues onto the nation of Egypt, and after the tenth one pharaoh lets them go. However he changes his mind and ends up losing most of his army when God allowed the water to crash down on them. Egypt is a primarily Muslim nation and serves the false God of Allah. Ancient Egypt economy was strong and was known for their labor and manufacturing abilities. There are many books of the Bible that mention Egypt including, Isaiah, Revelation, Zechariah, Genesis, Ezekiel, Acts, Matthew, Exodus, Amos, Psalm, Hosea, and Numbers.
