Unemployment as an economic problem exists in each countries and it is often a measure of the health of the economy. It is known as waste of scarce economic resources and as a result it decreases the future growth potential of the country’s economy (Riley, 2005). It is essential to understand the factors which causes the unemployment and its relation and impacts to other economic issues. For instance, of the causes are considered the extreme unemployment benefits, excessive minimum wage and hiring cost, too high real wages level, the disparity between the unemployed labour and job offers on the market in terms of skills and many others reasons (Bell, 2000). At the same time unemployment impacts the economy and the society. There were many studies conducted on dependencies and mechanisms of unemployment. Unemployment can explained by many factors as well as inflation. As one of the reasons of unemployment, inflation within the country can be considered. According to Phillips (1958) the inflation and the unemployment are tradeoffs, thus, the countries with lower

The American labor movement has provided my family with strength and security for generations. The power of unions to provide constant work, and job security has been a blessing upon my family. I am heavily in favor of the unions because they have always given my family peace of mind. At the age of 21 my grandfather started driving semi trucks across the country.
The National Labor Relations Act allows employees to form a union or join a preexisting union. The same act prevents employers from standing in the way of workers attempting to unionize. Many organizations frown on unionization, but regardless of their opinion, they cannot interfere with employment rights. Employers are violating the law if they threaten employee 's jobs, question union activities, or eliminate benefits for employees by unionization. They also cannot offer benefits or perks to employees for refusing to unionize, as this could be seen as illegal persuasion (Employer/Union Rights, n.d.).
The more people that work and make an income, the more money people are going to spend. The less people there are working, the less people there are making an income, and then they do not have the money to spend freely. When large amounts of people are unemployed, it will hurt the rest of the economy, creating a cyclical problem. As unemployment rates grow, people are not making enough money to buy more than what is necessary, and because of this, companies will suffer from less consumer demand, and lose business. As they lose business, they may have to make cuts of their own, causing the unemployment rate to once again rise, and a cyclical effect to take place (Ryan, 2015).
The topic I have decided to address is one of the numerous political problems that we as a nation face and their concerns must be addressed. This issue started with the House Republican Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and Republican Whip Eric Cantor (R-VA) are asking President Obama to force Congress to cut wasteful Washington spending and pledging bipartisan support for this critical effort. In a letter to the President, the GOP leaders ask him to invoke his authority under the Impoundment Control Act of 1974 to submit specific proposals rescinding spending already in place. Currently now President Obama is calling for wasteful and ineffective programs to be placed on the chopping block in order for the revising of the United States Spending

According to Patience (2013), the companies were less hiring 15% graduated students from last year. That was a bad news for the graduated students because they were just a few of companies’ job to choose. Unemployment make the students stress.
1) Government may intervene in a market in order to try and restore economic efficiency. One of the ways the government intervention can help overcome market failure is through the introduction of a price floors and price ceilings. If prices are seen to be too high, price ceiling or a maximum price could be imposed on a market in order to moderate the price of the product. This policy is often used when there are concerns that consumers cannot afford an essential product, such as groceries. The effect of a maximum price could create a shortage as it could lead to demand exceeding supply for that particular good.

Unemployment in Kenya is attributed to a number of factors that include: rapid growth of the population and the labour force, skill mismatch, information problems in the labour market, structural adjustment programs, slow or declining economic growth, and the labour market setup, among others. High population growth rate in Kenya has resulted in a relatively young population and a large population of youth in the population of the working age (Njonjo, 2010). This increase in the youthful population and increasing labour force has led to labour supply outstripping demand. Consequently, unemployment, especially among the youth, has surged. In particular, high population growth has resulted in higher levels of unemployment.
