Ulysses S. Grant By Deondre Brock The person I am doing this biography on is Ulysses S. Grant. Ulysses S. Grant was the 18th POTUS and commanding general of all union armies. Ulysses is famous for taking Fort Donelson in Tennessee during the Civil War .
