Back in 2013, our organization decided to purchase and implement the latest software that was available which was promised to better serve our types of industry. It was one of the biggest financial investment that our company made anticipating reasonable production and performance returns within a year of implementation the new system. It has been nearly three years that we have not yet utilized 50 % of the performances that was promised. In fact this upgrading took us back by requiring us to do some manual work because we can 't do what we were able do with our old system. Although several factors played in this circumstance.

Supervisor refused to allow/approved or certify my overtime, of respond to my request to be assigned to a different supervisor. From April 2014 to October 2014, my supervisor refused to allow/approved my overtime. I arrived at work only to find that my timesheet had not been certified and I was told that the Deputy Director was my supervisor Tracy Keenan and Mr. Van Dongen stated that she would not have to sign it since I am no longer under the Quality team. I brought it to the Quality Manager attention (whom I am assigned according to my PD as Quality Management Analyst) attempting to make him aware that my workload was back up with my other duties and I had been working for the Commander
This semester in English Ten we have been assigned a group photo-narrative assignment. Zaynab and I, our group, chose to construct a love story, that follows a young gay couple along their first date. The story begins as the two girls meet up, and follows them throughout their evening until they hug goodbye. My partnership photography project should be given mastery (a ninety percent or above) because, we collaborated both in and out of our partnership, organized a plan of attack, adjusted to circumstance, generated a creative product, and overall worked vigorously both in and out of class to create the best final product we could muster.
Gardner explained the rational around why all this can be important and the question I need to ask myself is based on the points that have been raised by Gardner above. 1) Do I have the creating capability in within me? I think I do but not as high as I would believe it to be and as such most of the work that I do is being replaced by technological breakthrough everyday 2) Do I have the synthesizing capability?

Luckily, there are oases, rivers, an ocean nearby, and relief from mountainous areas that make sure the park is not too dry. However, I have drawn more land than water in my poster to indicate fewer regions of water which shows the dry climate. To further add, because of the cold temperatures in this park, if it rains, the rain will most likely turn to snow (depicted on the ground and the mountainous regions of my poster). In addition, in the summer, the temperatures get a bit warmer (depicted on the left side of my poster). This means that in June, there will be a bit of snow, but July and August will be the only months without snow lying on the ground.
The amount of waste we produce is slowly killing our world due to the natural resources it
Nowadays debris is an integral part of humanity life. Mankind thinks about how to make the product easier and cheaper to use, but nobody cares what happens with waste after it was used. We contaminate the environment with every decade increasingly: muddied air and water, global warming are an output of human life. The worst thing is that from such attitude other living beings are dying. Millions of animals and birds cannot withstand such environmental changes; their populations become smaller and, eventually, disappear altogether from the face of the earth.
I’ve gained a lot of insight regarding soft skills from the first few weeks of D270. A few of these ideas regarding communication and managing others have really stuck out to me. One, in particular, is the concept of trust. Before we listen to someone, we first size them up and decide if we trust them. If we don’t trust them, their word is basically meaningless.
Through my investigations regarding this matter, I have cemented my belief that humans need to change their ways even if it costs them short-term benefits. In order to do so, humanity needs to reach a consensus and move to reform and create numerous ecological policies. Without such an agreement, many citizens each year will continue to suffer from the consequences of extremely heavy rainfall and the flooding that results from
Imagine living in a world where the air is polluted and most people are afraid to step outside their front door, in the near future, this may be reality for Americans. Americans throw out over 200 million tons of garbage a year, yet recycle not nearly as much. Most people do not realize it but recycling is a vital part of America’s society and if Americans do not perform this action, it will backfire on them. People in America are debating whether Americans are recycling enough and correctly. After analyzing the data, one will definitely agree that Americans need to be more educated on recycling due to the fact that most people do not know what happens after they recycle an item, nearly all Americans are recycling incorrectly, and Am To begin,
This number shows that people only account for 3% of the waste produced. This brings attention to how little of an affect each individual could have if they tried to recycle. Even more, is the waste of water as it is only 10% which is split between people and other municipals. This leaves the other 90% to be used by corporate businesses in the world. Now it comes
Introduction People tend to consume a lot, when there is consumption, there is waste – and that waste becomes a big problem that needs taken care of, which costs a lot of time, space and resources. If not managed, in turn, the world that we live in will become a hazardous place for all living things. According to the World Bank, people throughout the world, “spend $2.3 trillion a year on food and beverages alone” (Global Consumption Database, 2018), that is quite a lot. In addition to that, the world count mentions that, “we throw out over 50 tons of household waste every second. A number that will double by 2030”
