Cultural and political differences
Texas and its leaders are historically diverse. Grand Prairie specifically has more of a country background compared to the modern day city life, I and the people of the city of Grand Prairie of Texas have come accustomed to life in Texas. It has changed dramatically, from the hard working farm hands that used to populate Texas, to the luxurious laid back lifestyle of modern day. So how different is Grand Prairie from what it used to be? I believe it is very different from, the different viewpoints of the culture of the senator of Grand Prairie and myself, how these cultures interact with each other, and issues the senator of Grand Prairie and it’s people including myself differ in opinion.
To describe my culture along with Grand Prairie of Texas and Kelly Hancock culture, I am going to start by describing my cultural background. I grew up in the city, nothing to fancy. I lived in a calm and decent neighborhood full of nice people. But my family resided in a country environment. Most of them lived out in the country, some have moved to the city, but their origin resides where they grew up. I have visited my family out in the country and it was what I expected, large amounts of land and animals grazing in the coral. I would say my families culture, and how they

For example, as I stated before Kelly grew up in the city along with his family, but compared to mine, my family did not have such luxuries. My family liked the getting down and dirty morality of life, can not say the same for Kelly’s family. My family and I are very different, Grand Prairies culture are similar to what my family experienced. Living off the land and owning large amounts of land, but me I grew up in a typical suburban neighborhood. All of these cultures reside in the Grand Prairie district, and how these cultures interact with each other is a different
Maintaining the Texas Constitution of 1876 We as must never forget that the future of Texas is centered not on the strength of government, but on the hopes and the dreams of the people. The power of the Texan ideal it thhe reality og that any child from any cerci=omstance can grow up and can succeed, all Texans have the same birth right to achieve your own goals if your willing to work hard, follow the rules, and dream big. Texas believes in this. And I want to assure that the people and their children have the opportunity to live this way.

When I was young my mother would constantly divulge me in a scary story of the chupacabra. It’s grisly and always frightened me into being obedient. The description of the chupacabra is a mixture between a bear, goat, and man with spikes running along the back. The chupacabra, which translates to “goat-sucker”, drained the blood of living creatures, goats specifically. As I grew I’d share with my friends the chupacabra myth only to discover that they had no idea what I was talking about.
Texas has a very unique political culture, combined with the tradition and cultural aspects. Together with the influence of frontier experience and culture of Old South. A sound combination of individualism form frontier states as well as a conservatism from south. Like every political culture Texas political culture is also a blend of beliefs and values. Like every other culture Texas also have a coexisting society.
Walking through the streets of San Antonio, you can tell that the Mexican Culture has had a big influence on Texas. The aroma of Mexican food fills your nose as you walk down the streets of the city. Tortillas, Tacos, Burritos, Enchiladas, Tamales, Fajitas, Chalupas, Flautas, Guacamole, Salsa, the list just goes on and on. But we would never have these foods if Mexico had never influenced Texas.
American culture has an identification what could be described as unique and abstract to a degree of not being like any other. Their philosophy of culture would be to learn and interpret to be applicable to your own life. This society has set no restrictions on what the culture could be or have certain traditions that must be followed. America can tolerate and accept many practices to create its own culture that is not conventional.
Understanding the culture of a nation, people, or group one must immerse themselves and experience the nation’s arts, beliefs, customs, practices, values, and social behaviors. By attending a cultural event, an individual is able to experience firsthand the diverse offerings of culture and artistic expression found in a community. At the moment I reside in upstate New York, Albany to be exact and there are no cultural events to attend; well none that are occurring the remainder of my Humanities course. I decided to choose a place I always wanted to visit, do some research online to learn a little about their culture. I chose Hawaii as the place to visit and after some probing, I become aware of how rich their culture is.
Families serve as children's principal settings for cultural and racial transmission, serving as their primary crucible for socialization, “What it all comes down to is that the family is the unit of cultural preservation. This is true for all families, but for immigrants, it is particularly bittersweet; to do one thing means something else is excluded” (Lee). Lee says that she felt lost at times for not knowing about her family's history before migrating to the United States, "Because our parents never spoke about Korea, we felt as if we’d landed in the middle of the Iron Range of Minnesota via spaceship" (Lee), and for not practicing the culture of their country of origin, “They (author’s parents) insisted that we were not Koreans or even Korean-Americans, but Americans”

Culture impacted my personality and how I act and feel. To me, culture is a very important part of every person’s life. Culture can influence my different types of values. My mom practices Mormon and my dad is Catholic and because of this circumstance, I grew up with both beliefs. In my family on Christmas, we celebrate the Birth of Christ.
Since the dawn of time Texas has been a revolutionary place where many cultures manifested and changed. Latino Culture has obviously been a major influence on Texas overall, this can be taken from the name itself and other things. Not only does “Texas” derive from spanish origin, but the progress of Latin culture into America and the civil rights movement has gone a long way and truly made a foundation for Texas since the 1500s . The majority of latinos in Texas can trace their ancestry to the racial mixture that happened after the conquest of Mexico by Spain near the 1520s.

Definition of the word worldview can vary greatly, ranges from “we are all what we think” which has been inspired by Buddha, to a more current view being that it is a set of assumptions and beliefs that have an all-powerful effect , both on cognition and behavior. In brief, worldview influences and impacts the way a person view their surroundings, their lives as well as other people in their environment (Sue & Sue, 2003). Culture is only a single word that besets a plethora of categories which can influence a person’s thoughts, beliefs, actions and morals. Enclosing a myriad of life experiences, family values and lessons into a single word is quite a challenge. I am a product of Italian American culture.
I’m just a basic white male American who has no culture. This is what I was thinking before I wrote this paper about how the objects around me identify and represent my culture and me without even me realizing it. It was embarrassing in class when I was asked to write about my culture and I couldn 't think of one sentence. Thankfully, I can write almost a whole book about my culture.
