A hero is one who goes to the extreme to benefit others by doing righteous actions. In the United States alone, there are millions of soldiers who have sacrificed their lives for others to attain freedom; freedom that many parts of the world don’t have. Many believe that the Syrian war has been prolonged by outside involvement contributing to the war in Syria. A big conflicting matter is the support of different oppositions when going from country to country. Recently a big issue is Russia’s support to the Assad Regime against the United States’s support for the Syrian Rebels. This truly is believed to be the single largest factor contributing to prolonged war and failure of reconciliation efforts (Document F). US led coalition airstrikes and Russian airstrikes have also played a big part in delaying the end to the war in Syria.

The next section discusses the Homs mass killings, again by IS. The effect of this is to link all humanitarian issues about the death and displacement of Syrians to IS. He also chooses to report on Homs because it is the place with the strongest support for Assad and his regime.
The Civil War is characterized as the bloodiest war in American History. From 1861 to 1865, the North and South fought over several of disagreements and encounters. The Civil War caused hundreds and thousands of men to lose their life, about 620,000 soldiers had died. The Civil War was fought in Pennsylvania, Texas, New Mexico, and Florida. Civil War began because the North wanted to abolish slavery, the South seceded from the Union, and the North overpowered the South.
An upsurge in fighting has complicated aid efforts and driven some families deeper into despair.” The emigrants of Syria and Latin America are clearly being pushed away from their current homes, but why do they choose the regions they are going to? These regions, Europe and the United States respectively, have distinct pull factors, or forces that induce people to move to a location. For Syrians, Europe’s most desirable is the lack of civil war and internal turmoil. The people of Europe are considered by Syrians to be caring and welcoming, as said by report The Independent reporter Robert Fisk: “I suspect it's because they know enough about Europe and our history and about us to know that we are good people, that we are kind people.
Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL) is an extremist rebel group, which tends to overthrow Iraq and Syria government control, seize their legitimate authority and establish the Islamic Caliphate in the Middle East. The United States and the regional states are concerned about the events in Iraq and Syria. The tensions in Iraq are different than in Syria due to the legitimate authority of the Iraq government. The resistance of ISIL is an essential tension to reach desired environment, but simultaneously the support from Iran to Iraq government should be taken into account as a future threat to the United States national objectives. In parallel the Assad regime lost its legitimacy when used force against peaceful protesters.
Total war is essentially the mobilizing of every resource possible, to achieve domination over an enemy. This includes everything from human to material resources. I believe WWII was definitely a total war. This is due to the fact that each side created and produced deadly weapons to try and guarantee victory and anything that tried to interfere with that victory was subject to be terminated. For example, tanks became an innovation for strategically destroying enemy combatants, but sadly with the cost of innocent lives as well.
In a region consistently at war, ISIS supplies the essentials to those who subscribe. Conflict has seen the loss of stable jobs, education, and housing. However, stability comes from well paying jobs within ISIS as a media personnel, which guarantees housing and education for children. The Syrian Civil War - and Why Assad is Currently the Best Option For the past decade, Syria has been engulfed in a brutal civil war, with death tolls reaching almost half a million and causing one of the worst refugee crises since the Second World War, there doesn’t seem to be an end to this bloodshed anytime soon. The conflict is incredibly complex and confusing, with an uncountable amount of rebel groups and militias, each fighting for their own goal. Whether the goal is to establish a “democratic” Saudi puppet state, or a worldwide Caliphate, there is one thing the majority of these groups share in common: they want to overthrow the current president of the country, Bashar Al Assad. Being a person that has been accused of numerous war crimes, (and the fact that he’s a dictator) doesn’t make him the most attractive

The extreme measures that the refugee families are taking to get proper documents ranges from paying several thousand dollars to a regime-sanctioned lawyer to relying on other refugees to get tips and options to register (Soguel, D. The Christian Science Monitor, 2015). In order to prevent fraud and deportation of the refugee families and children, the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and UNHCR will need to cooperate in order to provide accurate information and efficiency for the refugees and asylum-seekers seeking safety of
