Freedom. The word that rings within all our hearts, it unites us and brings us the necessities of life. What freedom means to me is the ability to do what one wants without being oppressed. In my opinion, freedom relies on one’s attitude and freedom is a privilege, not an absolute right. Freedom is a relative term, you are only as free as you feel, therefore be happy with your lot in life. An unhappy person might look at a situation and say, “I feel enslaved,” and a happy person looks at the same situation and says, “I feel free!” For that reason I believe that freedom is my own choice, I choose each day whether I am free or a slave to the dark and dismal life many insist on pushing through.
