What freedom means to me, freedom is living your life without anybody telling you what you can or can’t do, they can’t tell you what you have to wear. Freedom is a way for someone to express themselves in any way shape or form. Freedom is something that people cherish because they can do whatever they want, whenever they want to do it instead of someone telling them. Freedom is supporting your family in jobs you’re good at and getting money for food instead of working for non-payment and your family not be supported well. Freedom is being able to go to school for no pay and let your kids stay there and not being discriminated against them for being black, or Hispanic freedom is allowing them to go to school without being discriminated.
Abigail Sarles 6th Hour Patriot’s Pen “One flag, One Land, One Heart, One hand, One nation Evermore!” - Oliver Wendell Holmes. In Marlette Michigan we have the freedom to make many life choices. Life choices means personal.

Freedom is enjoy your civil liberty. It 's being personally free, and being able to move or act without outside interference. It gives you the right to enjoy privileges of citizenship. It gives you the liberty of your personal thoughts, or choices. It lets you be who you want to be.
Freedom to me is doing what you love most in your daily life. When I think of freedom I think everyone gets to do what they want. It used to be in our world there was not all freedom there was lots of slavery. Slavery means when people are someone else's property in an unfriendly way.
Many people initially define freedom as not being forced to do something. The longing to do things our way is part of our human nature. But Nelson Mandela once said: “...to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that… enhances the freedom of others.” As an American I may enjoy the freedom and safety that was endowed upon me as well as use it to assist others.
Freedom can be interpreted in many ways, if you look up freedom in the dictionary it will say: the state of being free or at liberty rather than in confinement or under physical restraint. My ancestors said, “America is freedom”, my little sister says, “freedom is all the ice cream and T.V. in the world.” For me I’m not sure yet what I think freedom is. What Freedom Means to Me is a difficult topic. The VFW Patriot’s
Freedom means being able to everyday have rights that protect me from harm. The great freedom requirement is that people must have responsibilities that they must follow in order to have freedom. People also need to respect others rights because that is very valuable. Having rights is the most important thing that needs to be respected by everybody, and if they don’t then they do not deserve to have those rights.
Freedom. Many people abuse or just don’t understand how much this right means to us. To me, freedom means that I can choose what I do, I can have an opinion without fear, I can choose what job I want when I am older, I can be me. Some countries don’t give their citizens as much freedom as in America. The people of those people wish to live free while we, Americans, have plenty of freedom but sometimes don’t acknowledge it.
“For to be free is not merely to cast off one’s chains, but to live in a way that respects and enhances the freedom of others.” (Nelson Mandela). Having freedom means the ability to do activities that may have been frowned upon, but it also means to respect the choices that others are making without making a judgment. It is standing for what is right, believing in a certain idea, or it could simply mean wearing mix match colors to school. Freedom means being able to do an activity or dress a certain way whenever without having to be judged, saying what needs to be said, breaking free of a restraint that was holding back someone from achieving their goals, take the horse by the reins and take control of life.
Freedom. We all have it, but not everyone knows what it means to them. To me, it means we can say what we want and we can say our opinion and debate. Without this freedom I could be arrested for simply expressing my thoughts and saying what I think. The freedom of speech is very important to Americans.
What Freedom Means to Me Freedom is something that most people in the United States take for granted. What freedom means to me is the right to buy my own food and play my own music. American soldiers are one of the main reasons that we are free is because of the protection we get from them. Freedom the main reason the United States is a great country.
Some people may believe that freedom is being able to be rude to innocent people or being able to call others slurs or make offensive comments all while hiding behind the phrase “But it’s a free country.” But what freedom actually is, to me at least, is the gift to do whatever you want to do as long as it’s not hurting anyone else. It’s being able to love who you want, express yourself however you desire to, use whatever pronouns makes you feel better, and practice whatever religion you feel most connected to, as long as you’re not harming yourself or others. This nation was founded on freedom. “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, rights that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.
As the great activist and Nobel Peace Prize winner Lech Wales once said, "We hold our heads high, despite the price we have paid, because freedom is priceless." Within this quote lies the sacrifices we have made in order to live the life we have today, because freedom is a right we should never take for granted. If I were asked what freedom meant to me, I would have to think and wonder. I would think about its impact and the mark it has left in our nation and its people.
There are people all over America who don’t acknowledge their freedoms that our ancestors fought for. By the dictionary’s definition of freedom, it means, “The power or right to act, speak, or think as one wants without hindrance or restraint.” To me, freedom means much more than this. Freedom is my way of life.
WHAT IS FREEDOM? What freedom means to me is that I can live in a great country. I do whatever I want. I choose what kind of life I want to have. I am free to go shopping.
