George Washington: A Brief Biography
George Washington was an American statesman and soldier who served as the first president of the united states and one of our founding fathers. He was born on February 22, 1732 in Westmoreland county, Virginia. He went to school somewhere near his home then later he went to either Fredericksburg’s, Strafford county, or even Westmoreland county. He didn’t go to college but the college of William and Mary did issue him a surveyor certificate. George Washington had six brothers and three sisters. He did not have a middle name because it was not a common practice in colonies until the early 19th century. George Washington did not have any kids, but he raised two kids. His daughter, Martha, nickname patsy. She died as a teenager during an epileptic
