Today, I went into Jimmy John’s for the first time. Usually I order on line and have them to deliver my food. I arrive at Jimmy Johns on Tapestry Park circle and there were no parking spaces available. I parked my car into Merrill Lynch parking lot and walked there. When I entered the building, they were moving fast, they demonstrated teamwork. I notice there was a dissatisfied and angry customer waiting on their meals. The waiter remained positive, listen actively to reduce the customer frustration, she also reassured the customer her wait time for her order would not take longer than 2 to 3 minutes. Listening to the waiter and the customer, the customer were satisified with the service she had received from the young waiter, before she left

Jaylyn's relationship with the Cheesecake Factory staff exemplifies the power of quality service and its ability to forge long-lasting
In Chester Elton’s video he made some great key points on recognizing his employees and how to drive employees performance. The 3 points that impressed me the most from Elton’s message was the 3 coins in your pocket, the boss washing your car, and the hand written note to employees. The 3 coins in your pocket trick was one of the points that stood out to me the most. It really made me think about myself and how often i actually pay attention to people doing the right thing. Washing you car also stood out to me because when i was a team leader and it was my job to get V.O.C’s and window speed up, that would have been a great way to try to get everyone involved and push harder to our goal.
In the essay “Working at Wendy’s,” Joey Franklin states, “I only applied here because I knew I would get hired, says Sara the first night I work with her.” This situation related to my experience when I am hunting the job. In that time, I do not care what my job is as long as I realized that I need to help my family to pay my tuition fees and to other expenses. However, on the first day of my job I am not sure how to associate with another employee and to communicate to the customer because I am
Let me tell you something, despite our efforts, we were totally disappointed and never did find the spirit. We started our day with a typical breakfast in one of my favorite New York City diners; a holiday tradition started with friends years ago when the line for iHop was straight up disrespectful. After waiting in line at iHop to be served alongside the other hungover New Yorkers, a walk around the corner uncovered this hidden gem of a diner that accepts cash only. Armando, the server who never has a day off, greeted us the same charismatic way he did years ago when I started going to the diner; Joe Jr.
One day when little Johnny Bobby was about five, He told his mom that he was going to go fishing. His mother looked at him and said: " johnny Bobby, I'm not gonna let you go fishing because you don't even know how to swim. " " Okay. 1)My initial impression is that the story is about aliens and the later chapters could be post-apocalyptic. 2)The genre of this selection would be fiction. 3)The exposition of the story would be when people observe aliens in a spaceship land nearby them. The rising action would be when there are large criwds observing and then some people try to communicate with the aliens. The climax would be when people who are observing suddenly start bursting into flames.
In Tony Mirabelli’s writing, “Learning to Serve”, Mirabelli completes an ethnographic study of the service industry. Mirabelli writes on a topic he is quite familiar with, being a waiter. Mirabelli discusses the complexity of being a waiter, although most of these complexities are unknown to people outside of the discourse community. Mirabelli uses his ethnographic study to undermine criticism towards waiters. The main critique Mirabelli rebuts in his writing is that being a waiter does not require skill.
Acquiring a job, whether it be in a doctor’s office or a fast-food restaurant, can transform a person. Jobs tend to educate employees, either indirectly or directly, both about themselves and life in general. In Climbing the Golden Arches, nineteen year-old Marissa Nuñez discusses how her employment at McDonald’s transformed her into a mature and skilled employee. Within her personal narrative, Nuñez mentioned how she faced both pleasant and unpleasant circumstances while working at McDonald’s, all which prepared her for her future career. At McDonald’s, Nuñez learned how to fulfill her role of being an employee by becoming an expert at all the placed stations, dealing with the various types of customers she encountered on a daily basis, and
The Johnny Cash Project collects portraits drawn by individuals from all over the world. Each unique image reflects the artist’s vision of Johnny Cash. The portraits would then be combined into a whole – a music video for “Ain’t No Grave”, Johnny Cash’s final studio recording. The album surrounds the themes of mortality, resurrection, and everlasting life. The living portrait pays homage to these themes and will evolve and expand as more and more people learn about the project.
The atmosphere at AJ’s provides a relaxed environment that reflects relaxed feelings among their customers, making one feel as though they can take their time and that there is no rush to get out of the door as fast as possible, compared to other grocery store companies who don’t have the following ambiance (AJ’s Fine Foods, 2016). AJ’s not only has a calm and relaxing ambiance but they have an over the top staff that is suitably always available for questions. AJ’s staff represents the quality of the store’s product. Sam Walton always said the greatest risk to his business was that his customers would stop buying at his stores. That fear translated into customer fanaticism is strengthened by HR to this day. Traditionally, everyone is focused on improving every aspect of customer service, because they know the greatest risk of all may depend on it… their own job.
