Personally, it is a fun class if you get past all the work. The best part of language arts is when ever you have to work with a partner and get to play vocabulary games and can all sorts of prizes, it is mainly candy. Not only are you enjoying what you are doing, you are also learning while you are competing for all the prizes. Half of the time you don’t even realize it is work. That is always the best parts of Language Arts. Another fun part of language arts is reading the novel. While you are reading, you get to step into the narrators perspective and it almost feels like you are apart of the novel. That is another fantastic part of language
All in all the idea of written language and art are just one idea that express in two different ways yet both ideas can have its own benefit. Visual art however can be more universal than written language. By having "Judgment of Hunefer before Osiris" in the art history text book is crucial because the roots of written language can help students or anyone to communicate and learn . The symbol in the art work has meanings and without reading the description one can defineity will get a hint of what is going on in the art
Reading literature can help scholars understand other cultures because it immerses the reader in what those other cultures believed in and what their priorities were. It can help a reader get to know the culture and obtain facts about their lifestyle, habits, and how they function day to day. It is a very important thing to learn about other cultures because it educates us about the world today and how the world today functions and how all the cultures come together and make this world what it
The AP Language and Composition class at Silver Creek is a great program that although challenging seems like it would be a great class to participate in and learn from. Although English isn't my best subject, I think that this class will really help elevate my knowledge and skill, and I will have room to grow. The main reasons I have for joining this class are to challenge myself and to improve my skills for working in the future. My first main reason for joining this program is that I would like to challenge myself, especially in English.
Uniquely, I believe that everyone in this course has at least one book in your heart. That one book is your life story. This is what English and writing does for me. It allows me to put pen to paper, think, and write. The number one piece of literature that has changed my life, and desire to read and write is Reposition Yourself, By TD.

Learners should first grasp and master the basics of a language before studying more complex versions of it. Students do not want to be taught poetry because they know it most likely has no
Latin can help improve upon the general educations by helping students with English. Latin also allows students to connect with other cultures by learning it as a language, learning about past Roman societies,
The Magic of Skipping a Grade (and why it isn’t as bad as it seems) Many an overachiever has experienced the dreaded first day of their new grade, with mind racing, heart pounding. Everybody’s heads turn as a grade of people the same age is now accompanied by someone one, two, in some cases three years younger than them. The kid who just skipped a grade sticks out like a mouse at an elephant convention. However much their older, wiser, bigger classmates might make fun of them, nobody can get around the fact that those people weren’t the ones who were intelligent enough to jump a whole grade like it was nothing. Realizing that skipping a grade isn’t so much of a hurdle as it is a gateway is the first step to making that opportunity worth the
“No Homework For Students” Imagine being able to go home and not have to worry about doing homework or a big project to present. There wouldn’t be any stress about school. Instead, you get to lay down and watch your favorite show. Then you could go to the park with your friends and play games, or do anything that interests you.
English-language learners (ELLs) with special needs belong to a minority group and require specific direction for educators on how to help these students in the school context and how to help to improve their educational outcomes. This is one of the most important topics in the field of education in the USA. The main issue of the teachers is to decrease the achievement gap between ELLs and their peers. Though, the educational needs of ELLs are diverse and rather complicated. English language learners face many obstacles due to their cultural and linguistic diversity.
Why do people want to become teachers? There is low pay, long hours, little benefits, students have more rights than teachers. I want to be a teacher because I want to make a difference and change every child’s heart that I come into contact with. Teaching is one of those jobs where you get to be an undercover angel, because you are able to effect so many different lives by caring and teaching. You matter not only to one person in an office, but for 18-20 kids.
Have you ever been in a situation where you’ve been made fun of, or heard someone else being made fun of? I am sure the answer to that question is yes. Or maybe, you’ve insulted someone else without realizing the true meaning behind it? Ultimately, this is because language is more powerful than we think. Words and language can be used as weapons, and it may be hard for people to understand that certain words can be thought of as insulting to someone else but may not seem that way towards you.
Learning a second language at a younger age is beneficial Most little kids first day of school is when they are approximately five years old, and about to enter kindergarten. Kids go to school from about age five till graduation from high school at about age eighteen. Most schools focus on the basic core subjects, such as math, reading, science and history. Until junior high or high school, foreign language is not even offered.
With each passing day of our lives we are faced with the realization that this world is ever shrinking. We encounter new neighbors from other countries, colleagues who speak more than one language, and friends of our children come from various walks of life and far away countries. It is evident that our own children need to be prepared for this global society in which they will travel as young adults sooner than we care to imagine. As a parent of three children and an educator of thousands I live this realization every day!
I had my first tuition class when I was 10 years old. The need came when I cried my eyes out for a Mandarin composition homework that I couldn’t write. My parents themselves were stumped by the homework and thought it was best to enrol me in a Mandarin tuition class. Nowadays, kids as young as 3 years old are enrolled in tuition classes. Is there even a need to send these children for extra classes?
