Have you heard about the numerous amounts of kids that have been injured due to fidget spinners? Kids are using fidget spinners at school and getting hurt when doing tricks. Liam believes that students at his school should be allowed to use fidget spinners in class. His principal, Principal Schwarts, thinks that the use of fidget spinners at school shouldn’t be allowed. Liam claims that they help with concentration but Principal Schwarts says that there is no evidence about fidget spinners helping with concentration, and are disruptive to others. Fidget spinners should not be allowed in classrooms because they distract other students, they can hurt kids, and there is no concrete evidence that they help with concentration. One reason that I believe that fidget spinners should not be allowed at school is because they are disruptive to other students. Quiet fidget spinners can even be distracting. Teachers can even get distracted by these toys. If a teacher was standing in front of about twenty children doing fidget spinner tricks, it would be a bit distracting. …show more content…

There has been many cases of children getting hurt by fidget spinners. A boy in Australia had a very bad eye injury caused by a fidget spinner. The final reason that I believe that fidget spinners should not be allowed at school is because there is no concrete evidence that fidget spinners help with concentration.
