We are lucky that we live in a country that has many rights, the most important is the freedom of speech, it helps us to protect our remaining rights. Freedom is an innate right, humans are born with. Nothing should threaten our freedom, deprive us from our right, also our right of freedom must never harm any other human being, directly or indirectly. We must respect freedom of everyone in the society. This way we can enjoy our freedom through our life.
The main reason why, I choose this topic, is the most common problem, which we have about this issue. Freedom of expression and freedom of opinion are among the most fundamental freedoms and rights in a democratic society. The rules for freedom of expression in most democratic countries are

Even the most diehard advocates of free speech accept that it must have some practical restrictions in the interests of public safety and in order to protect other kinds of rights. People claim to want freedom, but they also seem to need limitations on that freedom.
Some laws are not designed to limit freedom of expression, but nevertheless can have that effect. In general, people do not agree with the government controlling what they can and cannot do to themselves, it should be no one’s decision but your own if you want to be homeless, drug addicted, prostitute. As long as, the only damage you inflict is on yourself.
There are so many different views what freedom truly means, and what influences it has on our daily lives. Freedom to me is very important in life. To me, the word freedom is being able to achieve anything you want to. It is being able to change your surrounding an environment how you want to be. If you don’t have a freedom, you don’t have a life. Freedom is a wonderful thing when you think about it. Freedom is more than just a guaranteed right. Freedom grants individuality and opportunity to everyone. The basic word “freedom” is appealing to most cultures, emotionally, and is used very often in political speech, it can be interpreted various ways, because there are so many freedoms that are available to discuss and consult. If people were not allowed basic freedoms such as freedom of speech, the world would be a drastically different place to live in. Freedom is quite powerful and when the wrong person possesses the power, it can become very limiting upon society’s basic
For the Love of Books A quote from Fahrenheit 451 by Ray Bradbury says that “... books are to remind us what asses and fools we are.” Ironically, Fahrenheit 451, whose main theme was the harming effects of censorship, was banned from some schools for using the word “hell” and “damn” and for using God’s name in vain in 1953. But it is this kind of gall and truth that students are deprived of when books are banned from schools. Other banned books include The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain for its racist language and themes, and Beloved by Toni Morrison for its sexual content, language, and discussion of bestiality. In every case though , rather than protecting the innocence of children and students, it denied them their first amendment right, their access to the lessons and themes of the world around them, and their tools to open their minds and expand their imaginations.
Freedom is a type of living that everyone in the world would appreciate having. Some people live in a communist country or a country where freedom do not exist and everything is controlled by the government. With many rules and regulations proposed by the government, people feel that it takes away from their freedoms. Nonetheless, America was established upon freedom, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. People want to live this way along with protection from danger.
Freedom is the power that allows people to self-determine his or her ideas, it allows people to have the right to act, speak or think without being restraint. The reality of freedom is how individuals see their freedom; for instance, Dr. King got locked in jail for describing his freedom, but others define his freedom differently. Individuals choices, how they want to establish their freedom. One’s person freedom could be someone’s prison. Although people defined that freedom is having unrestricted rights, but limitation create true freedom since it spreads equality to everyone.
The First Amendment assures freedom of faith. It also affects everyday life in many ways. The amendment has a ban on state authorized religion. In 2000, the Supreme Court presented public prayer in school as being illegal. When “Pregame Prayer” is visible at schools the establishment clause of the First Amendment is then violated.
Most people think that being an American is something we are born with. Or this is just a so-called “status.” An American is not just a legalized citizen of the United States. It’s actually more than that. To be an American, it means having the ability to exhibit your own freedom of speech and self-expression, hard work, and multiculture without others taking it away from you.
With the freedom of speech, we can show our thoughts about the government not through our voice, but also through peaceful, symbolic speeches and marches. Our voices are heard through activities such as the freedom
The First Amendment outlines free speech as the right to speak, write, and share ideas and opinions without facing punishment from the government. Without the Constitution, Americans wouldn’t have basic rights and their actions and decisions would be controlled, stressing the importance of free speech. Therefore, the limitations on free speech should be no more than that said in the First Amendment as further restrictions would eliminate the foundations of human rights and freedoms in a democracy, lower one’s knowledge of their individualism, and would ultimately suppress a peaceful society. Free speech may be discussed in a multitude of ways, both positive and negative. However, the idea of limiting such freedoms is either or.
The First Amendment that allows us to have Free Speech is by far probably one of the most important rights we have. One could say that Freedom of speech is as American as eating boiled peanuts at a football game, but the problem is not everyone may like boiled peanuts or football. This right gives people the opportunity to say what’s on their mind without fear of reprisal even if it offends others. Freedoms of speech rights have been interpreted differently throughout history and those interpretations have been questioned many different times, in many different ways.
Freedom Anyone in the world with an occasional source of internet has no choice but to see the seemingly outrageous news stories, posted weekly on events in the US. American’s have made their distrust in the government more than obvious, which in many cases, the government has provoked. The largest debate in the states today is the with the concept of freedom and where the lines are drawn between social security, equality, and one’s rights. Freedom is and always has been heavily emphasized in the development of the 50 states. It’s brought peace and war both figuratively and literally.
Freedom is the ability to do whatever one wants without restraint. Many people in our country take freedom for granted, while many suffer from the lack of freedom in other countries. Freedom is when you choose all of your actions, which is what was meant for everyone. Making choices of your own is how you learn and grow. When you are in a position without freedom, somebody withholds it.
The fact that one has the right to say and believe is the foundation for democracy to function. If no one dared to say their opinions, then it had become a dictatorship where only one opinion on how society and the country should work had been the “right”. If people dared to express their opinions, they will help improving the society one lives. Freedom of speech gives one the responsibility to consider what fits into different contexts, and it will make us better persons and people. Simply, people will feel safe in the society they live in.
The main idea of freedom is to be respectful and helpful to the community. Freedom is not endless. Freedom should be limited in some circumstances for the benefits of the community. You can't just do whatever you want just saying that “I have freedom.” We can’t kill people, do things illegally.
Article 19 being the most important, makes the freedom of speech and expression, a fundamental right. The United Nations Universal Declaration of Human Rights, adopted in 1948, provides, in
Freedom means the power or right to act, speak, or think without restraint, and the state of not being imprisoned or enslaved. Freedom is the correction to do what he/she wants, live life, and eat what he/she wants. How do we live free? We live free by not judging other people’s freedom rights. Everyone has their own rights.
As human beings, we are all born with an entitlement of freedom of speech or synonymously known as freedom of expression as it is a basic human right. It is stated in the Federal Constitution and it is important for us human beings to protect our rights to freedom of speech and expression as it is the backbone for a democratic society. Having the right to express oneself freely without any restrictions is an essential part of what it means to be a free human being. Article 10 in the Federal Constitution states that; (a) every citizen has the right to freedom of speech and expression; (b) all citizens have the right to assemble peaceably and without arms; (c) all citizens have the right to form associations.
