I can interpret that if a snail is presented with both leaves then it will only eat the plain leaves and not the striped leaves. It doesn’t eat the striped ones because it knows that a clover that can produce cyanide is striped and therefore poisonous, so it tends to stay away from it. That’s why the snail didn’t eat the clover the plain leaf that was painted with white stripes. From the wild it knows not to eat striped leaves. It’s pretty much like a visual warning.
Exercise 3-
Important factors for plant fitness are, elevation, average yearly precipitation temperature, and presence of herbivores. Minnesota has a higher elevation than North Carolina, which means Minnesota has less oxygen than North Carolina because the higher elevation
TASK 2 Infectious diseases are the invasion of host organisms, (microbes) which can be invisible to the eyes. The microbes are also known as pathogens. A microbe infects an organism (which is known as the host of the microbe). In a human host, the microorganism causes a disease by either disrupting an important body process or by stimulating the immune system to mount a defensive reaction. The pathogen, interferes with the normal functioning of the host and can lead to chronic wounds, gangrene, loss of an infected limb, and even death.

The data I will be collecting is from a primary source as the groups of Year 7’s and Year 10’s will be completing the practical where they will see how quick they can find the same five words in the three languages. It will also be discrete even though time is continuous so the results will be clearer. The data will then be recorded onto a table and after, put together on a data sheet using excel. I am using a sample as it makes the investigation fair and also means a range of unbiased results are created from it.

We also had some calls to the ER and drew on a person that was having chest pain we drew a Cardiac tube he told us that he was worried because his nice was going to have surgery. Word Identification The QRI-4 guideline suggested Tessa begin reading the word lists at the upper middle grade level, two levels below her current grade level. However, it was necessary to test back to the fifth grade level due to Tessa’s performance on the suggested starting point. Tessa completed the fifth grade word list automatically with 90% accuracy, in the allotted time, signifying she read the words at the independent level. When analyzing the sixth grade word list, Tessa automatically identified 70% of the words, indicating she was identifying words at the instructional level.
Use the slide presentation to answer the following questions about the atmosphere. Question Answer What is the atmosphere?
3. Research Question and Objectives Our main objective is to design a web-based visual interactive software that can provide us a graphical interface for computer programming. Where basic general purpose programming facilities will be available like creation of modules, arrays and object orientation. Where we can achieve multitasking using threads and exception handling to catch exceptions.
U6: Establishing audiences Quantitative: Quantitative research is a form of research where people are asked something with a simple answer that can be quantified afterwards to represent a larger group. This type of research has simpler answers (yes or no) than qualitative which has more complicated answer (such as a paragraph of text) that can not be quantified but tells a lot more information with 1 answer. Quantitative research is quicker and easier to gather result. Quantitative research can be used for things such as seeing how much of the population in the UK like corn flakes. They would do this by making a survey with a simple answers for the person being surveyed to choose from, the people doing the survey would be people chosen at random

Our Something from Nothing Unit was designed to help students acquire positive attitudes towards reading and books. Our goal was to make the unit as enjoyable for students as possible, while ensuring they are working towards mastery of the expectations from the Language Arts and Social Studies curriculum. With the goal of student enjoyment in mind, we chose the book Something from Nothing because we found that many students love this story and can relate to, Joseph, the boy whose belongings are wearing out over time. We began the unit by doing a read-aloud.
The core ideas of calculus, the derivative and the integral, can be developed from natural thinking and curiosity. The derivative is used to calculate the slope of the tangent line at any given point. The derivative was thought of by calculating the rate at which an object was changing at an exact instant in time. The results of the derivative can become more accurate by reducing the difference between the two points in time closer and closer together making them exceptionally close that it may appear as one point from afar, but when examined closely, they are two different points. The integral is used to calculate the area under a curve.
