The definition of school uniforms is standardized clothing for regular school attendance worn in conformity with school policy. Every August parents start school shopping with their child. This takes a large amount of money and time from the parents to make sure their children look good for the upcoming school year. Angella Benjamin said the following about time spent on school uniforms “the time you spend going to different stores to get the clothes your child needs could be spent doing something else. There are uniform stores available. Walk in, get your supplies, and you are done for the day.” If schools had school uniforms parents would not have to worry about the time it will take them to get the school shopping done or how much money they would have to spend.
