The play of Romeo and Juliet is thought of the be one of the greatest love stories ever written, and that they were destined to be together. Fate and long-standing family feud is to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet and all who were caught in the mix. People might think that Romeo is to blame for falling in love with a to-be-married woman. Others might think everything started when Tybalt wanted to fight Romeo because he was a Montague, which would still lead back to Romeo being the source of the problem. Many people could blame Romeo for being a Montague and falling in love with a Capulet, when he was still hung up on another girl. Romeo and Juliet were caught up in a long-standing feud. A feud that could have been stopped a long time ago had their ancestors stopped it earlier; instead, members of both families had to die to prove a point. The point is that should not be judged by last names but by character. “These violent delights have violent ends and in their triump die, like fire and …show more content…
The Nurse should have said something to the family about Juliet being in love if she really cared about her. The Nurse always acted like she cared very much about Juliet, but if she had, she would have put a stop to her killing herself. The Friar married Romeo and Juliet and therefore should have told their parents about the marriage if he noticed they were having problems. The Friar was afraid of what the families might have done if they found out that he married them without their permission. Instead of thinking about others the Friar thought about himself. Thinking about yourself isn’t what you are suppose to do when you are a man of the Lord. If everything was handled in the proper manner things might have turned out differently. Unfortunately they didn’t and there were
William Shakespeare’s most known play is Romeo and Juliet for the tragedy that happened to these two star-crossed lovers, but who is to blame for the deaths of these two? In the play Romeo and Juliet, Friar Lawrence, Love, and Family are the cause of Romeo and Juliet’s death. Friar Lawrence is the most to blame for the deaths of these two, he could have prevented the death of Romeo and Juliet if he had thought things more through. Love is second most to blame for their death because when people are in love mistakes and dumb things are done. Family is least to blame out of these three, but still played a big part in the deaths of these two because of how they influenced their decisions..
The troubles that we witness in Romeo and Juliet, by William Shakespeare, is something that can not be blamed on one family. It has to be blamed on a single person. That person is Tybalt, nephew to Lady Capulet and cousin of Juliet. Tybalt did many things in order to “stir the pot” and cause unrest. For instance, Tybalt wants to kill Romeo at the ball held by the Capulets.
Jacob Dunlap Ms. Holt Honors English 3/30/23 Who is to Blame for Romeo and Juliet’s Death Many people can be responsible for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet. The people that are to blame are responsible for their deaths because they had to be secretive and told what to do. Mercutio is one of the biggest suspects because he is the fault for Romeo and Juliet’s meeting.
Their quarrel is the root of every single problem and hardship they faced in their short-lived romance. For one, the hiding and secrets never would have had to happen if the two families could put aside their pride and resolve their dispute. Speaking of this dispute, it is truly the most pointless of its kind. The feud is one of ancient history, being caused years upon years ago by their ancestors.
In Romeo and Juliet by William Shakespeare, a calamity event affected the Capulets and Montagues. But who was really to blame for all of this chaos? I blame Romeo and fate for it. Romeo can be blamed because he was being disloyal to his family after he learned about the party; his reason to go was to find Rosaline, but instead, he found Juliet. The day after the party, Mercutio and Tybalt would fight because of Romeo, which would lead to Mercutio’s death, then Romeo would avenge Mercutio by killing Tybalt, after this Romeo is into exile.

In the Elizabethan tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” written by William Shakespeare, the characters that are known to be adored, can even be the cause of adversities throughout the beautiful play. Many characters could be accountable for the death of Romeo and Juliet. It might be the Nurse, who had very poor judgement, stringing Juliet along in a relationship that wouldn’t last. Would it be Tybalt, the violent cousin, who resented Romeo? Unexpectedly, the person who is to blame for the death of Romeo and Juliet is the carefree Romeo.
In my opinion I think that the feud between the two main families, the Capulets and the Montagues, is the most responsible for Romeo and Juliet’s death. The conflict between these two families is so distasteful that it causes Romeo and Juliet even more of a struggle as they try to find and keep their love. This conflict between the Capulets and the Montagues has been going on for a very long time and neither side is willing to make up for whatever may have happened in the past. Because of this a strong dislike is portrayed when someone sees a person from the opposite side. If the family feud wouldn’t have existed Romeo and Juliet would not have any large reason to hide their relationship.
Death, tragedy, misery, love, and unity, all of these words describe the story of Romeo and Juliet, but it all revolved around Tybalt making his first terrible mistake. In the play Romeo and Juliet written by Shakespeare, the short story is that two young lovers secretly get married, people murder in anger, the two lovers get separated, and then end their lives in a tragic death because of no communication. But, like I said, this all revolves around a mistake Tybalt makes because of the feud between the Capulet (Juliet’s family) and the Montague (Romeo’s family). Tybalt is the character most to blame for the tragic events in Romeo and Juliet because, he killed Mercutio, which lead to Romeo 's banishment, which then leads to the suicides of Romeo
In the play Romeo and Juliet by Shakespeare, the three characters to blame for the deaths of Romeo and Juliet are Romeo’s and Juliet’s parents, Juliet’s Maid, and Mercutio. The first characters to blame are Romeo’s and Juliet’s parents. They are to blame because instead of stopping the fight between them they join the fight. So, for this both Romeo and Juliet kill themselves so they be together. The second character to blame is Juliet’s Maid.
The characters that are the most guiltiest of the death of Romeo and Juliet are the Capulets and Friar Laurence and Tybalt. The Capulets are to blame because they weren 't supportive, uptight, and not caring. Lord Capulet was going to disown Juliet for admitting that she didn 't wanna marry Paris. For example: "Hang thee, young baggage! Disobedient wretch!
The death of the two star-crossed lovers is often mistaken for a choice that they made on their own. Even though Romeo and Juliet took their lives on their own will, fate and the long lasting family feud is to blame for the tragic death of the two star-crossed lovers. The major falling-out of Romeo and Juliet was all caused by the long lasting family feud and also fate. Most people, that read the story or only hear of the story, are led to believe that their deaths are their fault, and no one else had a part in it since they took their own lives.
Some things happen that we have absolutely no control over. Some things we can prevent from happening. And some things are solely our fault or someone else 's. In Shakespeare 's “Romeo and Juliet”, the death of both Romeo and Juliet is arguable on who 's to blame for their death. The death of both of them was caused by the Montagues and Capulets. This is proved by the families feud, that both families were forcing things upon them, and that they wouldn 't allow Romeo and Juliet to make there own choices.
