The Bully is an interesting specimen that often appears in any school across our nation. They can affect themselves and the environment around them simply by their actions. When someone bullies another it tends to cause emotional disarray within themselves and others. Most people don't understand why bullies are able to put everyone into such an ordeal. To understand why bullies do what they do we need to understand how the bully thinks and how to help them. A bully can be pretty much anyone, no matter how they appear. Most bullies are trying to compensate for a way that they feel about themselves. Some of their other intentions have been power, attention, retaliation, boredom, and the pleasure of inflicting pain. When I was in kindergarten I knew a kid named Peter who always took our food and beat us up. Whenever we would cry and tell on him it would get worse so we learned not to tattle. However, the only reason we were able to endure was because of his friend James. James always helped us afterward and gave us something to eat. He told often that Peter is only mean to us because his life at home is bad. Peter's mom and dad always fought and no one showed him compassion. To the bully the only way to escape the hell they feel is to enact it on others. This solution will only lead the bully down a path of more pain …show more content…

He's not a bully, but more of a delinquent. He uses sarcasm and crude jokes to channel his aggression. He has a rough life at home and insinuates that he is abused by his father. He jokes around and acts wild to deal with the suffering he goes through at home. This causes the others around him to have a false perception of him.
Bullying looks like to me, someone getting picked on or getting their feelings hurt. The definition to bullying shows you why we need to stand up to bullies. They are rude people, and they get what they want just by hurting people. Kids that are being bullied should go tell someone. They should go tell someone because they could
Bullying occurs every day due to social pressures, cultural insensitivity, and learned behaviors during formative years, and therefore is a pervasive issue that affects both the bully and the bullied, causing self-esteem issues, mental health problems, delay of social skills, and should be addressed and prevented by parents. As someone who has endured bullying from elementary to high school, I understand that the bully is also a victim, which can be a difficult statement to accept. When you are a student in school, you often can’t comprehend that those who are “bullies” are bullying for a reason; they might feel powerless at home, so they bully in order to have power over others; they might feel unimportant in life, so bullying gives them a purpose. Whatever the case may be, I believe that bullies in school are victims too, and it is important to address, inform, and help bullies the same way we do victims of bullying. In the documentary “Bully,” one of the children who are victims of bullying says, “They push me so far that I want to become the bully myself” (Hirsch 2011). I believe this quote resonates for all bullies.
Bullies can be found anywhere in the world. They victimize, torture, and threaten others for their own benefit. Every bully has a weakness they attempt to conceal, but it is never truly hidden. This insecurity leads them to act out against seemingly inferior people to achieve a false sense of strength and security. The deep emotional struggle bullies face is evident in Lord of the Flies by William Golding.
Bullies are trying to get attention or when other kids bully each other they think it’s funny or it’s not hurting anyone. There is all kinds of bullying, verbal bullying. Some children who are victims of bullying often feel alone and powerless to change their situation. When a child is bullied he or she can feel isolated, and clinical
Bullies are usually stronger and victims are usually perceived as weaker and unable to protect themselves.” (Masterson,1997) Bullying expands in many aspects of everyday life; from schoolchildren and teenagers, to adults , working environments and even spouses and family members. Considering that the first signs of bullying appear among schoolchildren, we should examine it in its infancy, that is, bullying in early years and school life, which in turn becomes with the passage of years violence and in some cases even crime. As far as bullying at school is concerned, “one definition is that a student is being bullied or victimized, when he or she is exposed, repeatedly and over time , to negative actions on the part of one or more other students.”
Cyberbullying is something that is almost impossible to avoid. When someone is harassing you face to face you can report them to the school or avoid them by staying home, but cyberbullying is very hard to dodge. People feel a sense of power when bullying behind a screen. No one knows of their true identity and some of these internet trolls will go through whatever means possible to hurt you. You can block these accounts but it's very easy for them to just continue making more.

Bully is a person who uses strength or power to harm or intimate those who are are weaker. People who bully, are hurting people’s feelings and it is spreading around the world. There is not much people to help to put a stop to bullying. They can tear apart the victim by hurting their feelings. To most people the general stereotype of a bully is a oversized male who physically and verbally harms a smaller weaker student. Second, most children who go through face to face bullying say that when they get home nothing can happen to them, but through the internet anyone can be harmed anywhere and anytime even in their “safe” homes. Cyberbullying can happen in any circumstances making it easier for anyone to bully another. It can happen through any electronic device through texting, the internet, social media, and even video games.

It consists of three main types of abuse which are physical, verbal and emotional. Bullying in schools is a common and worldwide spread problem that can have critical and negative implications on the general school climate as well as on the right of students to study in a safe and secure environment without fear.
