By using pathos, the author uses strong words that clearly appeal to emotion and Christians know how important love for God is. This is effective because the targeted audience includes people who know about God and how worship is supposed to be. Another example is when Stetzer expresses “Well, I am deeply offended too-by this statistic. And, you should be as well” (Stetzer, 2017, para.9).
