Ron Welburn



Ron Welburn grew up in Philadelphia. He received his PhD in American Studies from NYU in 1983. Welburn is an associate professor and director of the Certificate Program in Native American Indian Studies at the University of Massachusetts at Amherst, where he has been since 1992.
