To characterize schizophrenia, there 's a notion of patterns in terms of ways of thinking, perceiving, feeling and behaving. Schizophrenia is described as a group of severe disorders characterized by inappropriate emotions and actions, disturbed perceptions, and delusional thinking. Individuals suffering from schizophrenia have positive symptoms and negative symptoms. Positive symptoms include patients who are deluded in the way they speak and are prone to inappropriate laughter, rage, and tears. However, one who shows negative symptoms are “lifeless” and has an expressionless face and appropriate behavior.
