Leonardo Da Vinci and Martin Luther were both influential people. They have both made a difference in the world today. They both have impacted society, developed morals, and created ideal advancements for people. Despite their similar characteristics on changing the World, Martin Luther made a bigger impact by revolutionizing and standing up for his religion. Leonardo was born on April 6, 1452 in Florence, Italy and Martin Luther was born on November 10,1483 in Eisleben, Germany. They both lived in the same time period and were born in the 1400s. Although they lived around the same time, they had two very different lives. Leonardo grew up in a farmhouse in Tuscany. Where he developed an imagination and interest in nature and art. Leonardo lived in the time of the Renaissance, where people overcame the Black Plague and started new human ideas and inventions. This was a political time of celebration that influenced people to work harder to become successful. While Leonardo lived, so did Michelangelo, Raphael, and Martin Luther. All three men were people who created advancements for this time in history. Martin Luther lived in a religious time when Popes of churches sold Indulgences, which is like a punishment or cost for sinning. He knew this was not what God intended, so the political system influenced him to stand up and write the Ninety-Five Theses that were read all across Germany. During Martin Luther’s Time, William Tyndale, John Calvin, and Leonardo Da Vinci all lived. These men were people just like Luther, who made an impact on society. Leonardo and Martin Luther had inspirations and contemporaries that helped them become significant
