Today’s children are tomorrows future but the future holds no rosy picture for those unfortunate ones living in the appaling conditions and involved in some sort of physical labour where they are exploited and abused. These children of darkness see very tough life right from their tender age. The term ‘child labour’ brings before eyes, the picture of exploitation of little, weak, tender and under-developed bodies, illiteracy, physical abuse in terms of beatings by the employers and accidents often fatal at work sites. They do not have food to eat, clothes to wear, beds to sleep in and some do not even have homes to go back to. These children live in a social structure which prefers to burn up lakhs of rupees on firecrackers rather than providing …show more content…
