Edgar Allen Poe only lived forty years, but left a permanent imprint on literature in his short lifetime. In Poe’s created works, there are many occurring elements in his literature. These elements include theme, symbols, and style. He uses these elements to reflect the gothic, dark, mysterious, romanticism themes in his literature.
