The Jon Benet Ramsey case has remained unsolved for many years. Many believe it was an outside job and many others believe it was an inside job. There are many documentaries out there but most of them are biased toward the family committing this horrible crime. There are many factors in this case pointing towards the family. In reality anybody the family know and weather they loved them or hated them one of them could have created this crime. Now the murder of Jon Benet Ramsey was a gruesome one, first Jon Benet was hit in the head with enough force to crack her skull open perfect enough, evidence shows that it was a flashlight because when it impacted it made a almost rectanuglar shape in the head.Second there was strangulation marks around her neck
Her parents were suspects but then were ruled out in a dna test. How: A lengthy handwritten ransom note was found in the house. They suspected that the note was written by jonbenet's mother but they didn't have enough evidence. Foundings: Next to the ransom note was jonbenet’s body.
Blog Post 3 Today I read and watched “JonBenet Ramsey's Brother Breaks Silence 20 Years After Her Murder.” By ENJOLI FRANCIS.This article was mainly focused on JonBenet's older brother as the main suspect in the case. The article included an interview with Burke Ramsey, which was his first time speaking publicly about JonBenet’s death. The interview was recorded in 2016, 20 years after the murder of JonBenet.
JonBenet Ramsey was murdered on Christmas day she was only six-year-old. In like a normal families night time routine the Ramsey’s went put their children to bed than the mother Patsy Ramsey randomly woke up and walked to the kitchen where she found ransom note. The ransom note was about two in a half pages long anf it did say that the criminals wanted one hundred and eighteen thousand dollars for JonBenet Ramsey. The ransom note stated that she would be exchanged for the money the very next day and if they didn’t go by the not JonBenet was going to be killed. When several minutes past then the police arrived which they didn’t accurately secure the crime scene although; a investigator that had arrive to the scene should have gathered and collected the evidence but didn’t happened until later.
John Ramsey found JonBenet Ramsey’s body in the basement, picked her up, then carried her up to the living room where he placed her on the floor. Several evidentiary issues can be easily noted with this situation. The
What the authorities know about the 1996 murder case of Jonbenét Ramsey, was that she was killed by asphyxiation (JB, A3), she was found in the basement of her home, on her back, duct tape binding her arms, and covering her mouth. (A&E, B1). She was
The most likely suspects have all been exonerated. Gary Oliva was cleared after an arrest for unrelated charges, John Mark Karr falsely confessed and was only in the case for the media frenzy, Burke Ramsey was cleared by DNA evidence, as well as possible mental problems and social unawareness, John Ramsey was cleared by DNA evidence, and Patsy Ramsey was cleared by DNA evidence. However, after all of the theories, relationships, and evidence revealed, Patsy Ramsey is the most likely suspect in the death of JonBenet Ramsey. Although Patsy is dead, the only evidence preventing her from being convicted as the killer is the DNA evidence, which is already untrustworthy as John Ramsey destroyed a majority of it and police left the crime scene open for friends and family to pass through. JonBenet’s death was clearly staged, as evidence in favor of the intruder theory don't add up.
A possible example of filicide is the JonBenet Ramsey murder case. Though her parents were exonerated, several pieces of evidence still pointed to the parents. I 've read and watched interviews, books, and documentaries, and despite how unfathomable it may be, i still believe her parents, particularly her mother had something to do with her death. in researching filicide, I believe it could have been altruistic filicide. Patsy, at this time was suffering with Ovarian Cancer and making frequent trips to get chemotherapy.
Little JonBenét was found dead on Christmas day 1996 in a basement where her father John Ramsey found her corpse. JonBenet’s neck has been strangled along with injuries on her skull. There is no doubt that not only was she murdered and strangled but also molested. What truly has occurred on that day and year was a tragedy and a misunderstanding of what has happened to this little girl is still unsolved until there is more evidence. The murderer of JonBenet could have been anyone yet the fingers were only pointed at the family.
JonBenet Ramsey who was a young loving beauty queen of Colorado, who’s live was taken way too early. JonBenet was murdered in her home in Boulder Colorado on December 26, 1996 at the age of six. After completing my research, I was able to make a prediction of who I believed murdered the incent child, and it did not take much research to see the mistakes made by the Boulder Police Department. The Boulder Police Department made numerous mistakes in the JonBenet Ramsey case.
Other than that, some cases become cold cases is because unsuccessful to find the real criminal due to false accused made by the detectives that end p to delay the investigation with a negative result. Jon Benet Ramsey stayed unsolved for over 20 years due to an error in the investigation including false accused made by the detectives. At first, detectives suspect her family because her dead body was found in their house basement. Unfortunately, the proof not strong enough to turn her family into the criminal. The detectives spent a lot of time to investigate her family even though her family resists to be investigated.
On Christmas night in the year of 1996 a six old girl named Jonbenet Ramsey was killed and found in the family's wine cellar, long with a ransom note. After a christmas party Jonbenet's mother Patsy, took her sleeping daughter up to bed around 9:00 pm, but the next morning around 5:00 am her daughter was gone. Almost all of the evidence was strange starting with the placement of the body, the 911 call, the ransom note, the window, and the victim's stomach contents. Jonbenet’s body was found in the family home wine cellar, but the placement of her body was strange. The detectives that worked the case did not understand why the killer would leave Jonbenet in the home that she was supposed to have been taken from.
When John Ramsey and his neighbor Fleet White went around the area to see if JonBenet was hiding somewhere, the first place John went was straight to the basement. Which just so happened to be where JonBenet’s body was found, so that right there raised a huge red flag. The reason for that was because by the time Mr. Ramsey had gone downstairs to the basement, it had been a few hours from when everything had started and mysteriously he knew exactly where she would be in the basement? The biggest part of it all was after Mr. Ramsey had found JonBenet, instead of calling for the detectives who were all over his home; he immediately picked JonBenet off the ground and took the duct tape off her mouth. After John Ramsey touched JonBenet, that entire murder scene was now tampered with which makes anything that was found inaccurate seeing how there is now other fingerprints on the body.
After being examined the autopsy reported that she had a fractured skull, had been sexually assaulted, and had been strangled with a garrote made from one of her mother's paint brushes. The conclusion of her death was homicide, and the cause of death was asphyxia from being strangled and craniocerebral trauma. When the Boulder Police Department started to investigate they strangely did not interview the Ramseys and when they did they were interviewed separately. For four years the reports from the investigation always came up short. The Ramseys were suspects and although the Boulder District Attorney Alex Hunter didn’t file charges against them in 1999, the public still finds the Ramseys guilty.
As presented by the evidence above there is no doubt in mind that John Ramsey was the perpetrator in the death of JonBenet, his daughter and that Patsy Ramsey, his wife, helped him and together they covered up the crime. Due to the lack of
“Murder is the unlawful premeditated killing of one human being by another” (Oxford Dictionaries 2017). There are murders that take place every day and night. The most poignant are the unsolved, given the murderers could be walking free. One example would the tragic death of six-year-old JonBenet Ramsey in 1996. The case has never been solved, but evidence strongly supports John and Patsy Ramsey, JonBenet’s parents, are guilty of this crime.
