When it comes to the human condition, we find ourselves digging deeper and deeper everytime we observe said specimen. It’s quite brilliant to see how far we can push ourselves, how we break as if we were simply porcelain, and how we can grow to be the most vibrant and intelligent minds out there despite abandoning the world’s drawn path of success. Somehow though, we neglect these aspects. Especially, the darker, cruel, and morbid sides of the human condition. Human condition is the thematic approach and characteristics of things such as emotional growth, morality, or the crisis in our existence. The books “Steve Jobs: The Man Who Thought Different” by Karen Blumenthal as well as“Farewell to Manzanar” by Jeanne Wakatsuki and James D.Houston
Valley Forge is where George Washington spent the winter with his colonial troops. It was a cold and painful winter, but the soldiers that survived in camp gained much needed training. This training was a valuable asset to the colonists. If I had been a soldier at Valley Forge I would have stayed there. For example in the Estimates of Illness and Deaths at Valley Forge(Doc A) it states that only 1,800 people died in the camp. This is only a ten percent of the population at the camp, which was 12,000. This means that you have a small chance of dying if you lived there. Another example is in The American Crisis(Doc D) it states that if you leave now you will increase the odds of us losing and increase chance of Britain winning. What this means
Being in the snow isn’t always fun. It is January 1, 1778 and I have been serving my term at Valley Forge. I have been very miserable which has made my experience here dreadful. I’ve finished my time as a soldier but I have the option to re-enlist or come back home. As much as I want to stay and help out the army, I’ve chosen to come back home. I have been homesick and don’t want to be so cold all the time. As good as it sounds to have freedom, I rather have a warm place to stay at and nicer clothes than I have now. Lots of sickness, too much death, and terrible conditions are the reasons why I am not going to re-enlist.
Have you ever experienced a horrible day and thought that no one could be having a day as dreadful as yours? Well, you could be having a horrible day, but it’s probably nothing compared to the challenges Salva Mawien Dut Ariik had to face. In the book, Salva needed to face challenges like surviving through the Akobo desert, Living in refugee camps, and losing his family for about 19 years.
I hope the information i have gave you will influence you to go to the great school of Missouri Valley. Here are my sources: http://wwww.jimthewonderdog.org
Valley Forge was a base winter camp located next to Pennsylvania. George Washington helped out and taught the soldiers how to use guns and fight battles. I am going to leave Valley Forge because the quality of this camp is horrible. (DOC A) There was a very high percentage of soldiers who died of illness because they did not cure any illnesses. Almost fifty percent of soldiers were sick, about 3,989 were sick with chickenpox and smallpox. (DOC D) Thomas Paine compares tyranny to hell. The camp was very cold and sometimes the soldiers didn't have shoes to wear. (DOC C) The huts at Valley Forge were very cold and dirty. There was very poor food, they had no meat and nothing to fill our stomachs. Valley Forge was a very poor quality camp and it
If I was in Valley Forge, I would stay and train there. There are very harsh conditions at Valley Forge. I would stay through that to test myself and see how tough I am to see if I can last the conditions. I also want to be known as someone who fought the conditions and trained for war for testing at Valley Forge. I also want people to notice my skills and endurance as a fighter. I want to look fierce in battle to hopefully intimidate my opponents and lower their defense. I’ll even go stealth, and use long range weapons to hide and snipe people. Lastly, I want to protect my family and people. I want to stay to fight as hard as possible to make sure that everyone that looks up to me is safe from my foes. I also want to make my citizens proud
At Andersonville Prison in Georgia, they are treating the Northerners like animals, not humans. No one deserves to be treated like that. They are dying by the thousands and trying to make the best of it.... but struggling when trying to walk and move around but being sick and overcrowded. They get shot if they cross the fence, or even attempt to walk towards it. Prisoners are finding themselves confronting obstacles throughout every day of needing clothing, food, water, medical attention and more. They are freezing in the winter.. and too hot in the summer. Some are dying of starvation with lack of food and
In years preceding World War II, Japanese were greatly mistreated but the true mistreatment did not start until the Japanese Internment. Japanese Internment was the internment of thousands of Japanese Americans in relocation camps. Although World War II is covered in most classes, the story of American citizens who were stripped of their civil liberties, on American soil, during that war is often omitted. This internment of thousands of Japanese Americans during World War II remains of the most shameful events in American History.
The Eagle forum was founded by Phyllis Schlafly in 1972 and began as a trust fund to defend conservative agendas in 1967. During the proposal of the Equal Rights Amendment in 1972, Schlafly founded a group with more proactive approach called “Stop ERA” with one goal in mind, to defeat the ratification of ERA. After the success of the “Stop ERA” campaign, Phyllis Schlafly founded the eagle forum, a pro family group dedicated to “opposing all encroachments against American sovereignty through…feminist goals” (Schlafly). Althoug the primary interaction that eagle forum has had with the womens movement was the ERA, they also are incessantly combating

Esther Morgenszern was born in Kaluszyn, poland in the year 1927. When she was fifteen her and her family were taken to an extermination camp just ten miles into wilderness from Minsk Mazowiecki, the town they were staying at in Treblinka, poland called the Treblinka extermination camp. This camp had one of the highest death raidings and was one of the most brutal. some. As an agricultural area, Dutchess County in New York’s Hudson Valley has some of the most beautiful land you’ll ever set your eyes on. (TraveleChannel.com 1). The Hudson Valley is deserving of this title by a well-known website and channel on cable television. Even though I have lived here my entire life, and I am still in awe of the fall beauty. Apple picking is a popular activity, during this time people gather their friends and family and head to the nearest apple orchard on the weekend to retrieve fresh apples that will ultimately be incorporated into a delicious meal.
I always wanted to learn more about the Holocaust, and I got the chance to travel with a tour group to Auschwitz. So, of course I took it. I’ve always wanted to go to Europe, and now it seemed I was able to. I was to fly out to Krakow Airport from New York. I was going to drive to NYC with the rest of the group to save money on a flight. The trip would take a total of 8 days. Excluding the time it took to travel.
