Although many characters were to blame for the tragic ending, these characters were ultimately the main reason why Romeo and Juliet’s lives were cut short. However, despite the fact that William Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet was written in the 16th century, it reflects similar types of problems that we have faced in the twenty-first century. Although we may not have the same problems like the plague or deadly family feuds that were during the 1500s and 1600s, we have several problems like the following recent tragedies: the Isis Paris Attack, the Zika Virus outbreak, the San Bernardino Shooting, and the Antigo High School Shooting.
