Alexander the Great III of Macedon was born 356 BC to 322 BC. He was a king in the Ancient Greek Macedon. Alex was born in Pella an Ancient Greek city located in the Central Macedonia. He was raised by an nurse lanike. He was tortured by the best Aristotélēs. He taught Alexander and his about different things like religion, morals,philosophy and art. Aristotle saw that Alex was in to Humer,( a Greek author) so he gave Him some copies of Humor poems and Alexander used references to them in his speeches later in life.
When Alex was about 10 years old, they brought a horse to Phillip Alex father and he didn’t want it, but Alex did. Alex trained the horse to his commands. Philip was happy for his son and told him this city is too small for all your dreams. So he got on his horse and traveled as far as India. The horse died sadly of age and he named a city after it. Aristotle stopped teaching Alex at the age of 16. Philip had just left to attend a war against Byzantine. Which he put Alex in charge. The maedis rose up against Macedonia. Alexander answered fast moving them out their land. When Philip came back he bought a small army to help his son. Alex had seven bodyguards. A student of Ancient Greek Philosopher Aristotle that seized the moment with the passing of his father, Philip II (King Philip) and took charge. Alexander the great became the leader of the Greek kingdom of Macedonia in 336 B.C. Throughout his short tenure of power which lasted 13 years, Alexander the Great built an empire that stretched from Greece all the way to India. During his time in power and several years after his death, Alexander the Great initiated a variety of change throughout.
To begin with Alexander had a hard life before coming to America. Alex had lost his mom before the age of 12 due to an illness that they could not cure because they didn’t have to money for it. After his mother had died he had to start working for the landlord just to get by, his father stopped being present in his life after he was 2. Alexander had one more person in his life and that was his brother James.

Although he almost died in the first Persian encounter at the Granicus River in 334 B.C.E., Alexander went on to gain a major victory. Persia’s emperor, Darius III, was becoming agitated with Alexander the Great ’s expanding empire and mobilized forces to terminate his army.

Alexander, being aware of this, took away King Darius’ advantage by ordering his army to shift to the right hoping to move the Persian army away from its leveled field. Unable to use their chariots on the rugged terrain, the Persian army was thinned from the front and the rear and so Alexander took charge from the rear, causing Darius to run from his army, giving victory to Alexander (Green, Peter 82-87). Although, capturing Persian properly, Darius was on the run. Before Alexander could get to Darius, Bessus, who was Darius’ trusted general, killed Darius, to claim himself as the new Persian Emperor. Alexander the Great is one of the most famous people in our world’s history. He achieved great challenges no other man could do. Alexander himself said, “There is nothing impossible to him who will try.” His achievments prove this quote without a doubt. Alexander the Great was a successful leader and tactician. Even though he was successful in these departments, we don’t see much of his politician skills being used. Alexander the Great, born in the northern kingdom of Greece, Macedonia, is easily one of the most famous people in history. Known for conquering most of what they knew as the world, Alexander accomplished a lot. From leadership, to tactics he used in battle, Alexander the Great was a successful man.
Contrary to popular belief, the young Alexander III of Macedonia was not as amazing as he is often portrayed to be. Alexander was born in 356 BCE and his father (Phillip of Macedonia) actually began the conquering of the large empire Alexander would one day rule. King Philip conquered nearby Greek city-states and had planned to conquer the Persian Empire, but before he was able to complete this attempt he was assassinated. Alexander, in 336 BCE, at the age of 20 years old had become the king of Macedonia. He completed his father’s attack on Persia and died after becoming ill in June of 323 BCE.
