A Chrismas Carol Acts (1 & 2) By Israel Horovitz. First, this story is about an old man named Ebenezer Scrooge who is always a grumpy, selfish, and mean man. And this essay is about the cause and effect of how Ebenezer Scrooge went from a Mean grumpy to and nice a non-selfish man, At the beginning Scrooge is a cold-hearted man and hates Christmas. He says that Christmas is ridiculous and when his nephew asks for more time off for Christmas scrooges says No. Scrooge is a very lonely man he has a family but doesn't keep in contact with them because he wants nothing to do with anyone. Scrooge encounters with the Ghost of Christmas Present which shows Scrooge that kindness is very important to people who do not have that many things in life. And that's why Christmas present spread kindness to the poor more. And Scrooge grew up making things hard for him. And his family also grew up poor.
