The Evil that Follows During World War II, millions of lives were claimed by the Holocaust; over six million Jews were killed by the Nazis because of Hitler 's hatred towards the Jews. One family, The Franks, were affected by this unnecessary hatred. The Franks were a total of four people, Otto Frank, Edith Frank, Margot Frank, and Anne Frank. The Franks lived a normal life in Germany but decided to move as Jews were given less and less freedom because of Hitler 's laws to oppress the Jews. Even when the Frank Family left Germany to the Netherlands the Nazis invaded there and they were in the same situation once again.
Anne Franks diary shows us to help and not mistreat people because of who they are or what they look like. The Holocaust was a time period during World War 2 when they killed many jews. Hitler was the main leader and his reasoning for doing this was because he thought that the jews were evil and bad. This was a horrible time period for the jews. Some of these jews went into hiding because they did not want to go to the concentration camps to be killed.

Through out the story and play decription of events can help protray events that have a major impact on the story. One evidence from "The diary of a young girl" was "No one is spared-old people, babies, expectant mothers the sick each and all join in the march of death." This shows that each and every Jew was affect by the war it didn't matter whether you were old, young or sickly. Mr. Frank is strongly driven by his yearning for personal freedom and independence, feeling confined and suffocated within the Annex. His greatest wish is to be able to share the outside world with his family. This quote means that Mr. Frank is giving all the kids lessons and wants the kids to know all this information because Mr. Frank has hope that one day they will be free and experience the real world. I recently finished watching the 2009 The Diary Of Anne Frank move and the play. Both version of the story demonstrated how a young Jewish girl and her family fought to escape the Nazis. In the beginning, Anne was a young privileged girl who had just finished celebrating her 13th birthday. A few days after, she, her family, and the Van Daans moved into a secret Annex for hiding. By the middle, the two families experienced many situations where they shared differences, that often led to harsh disagreements.
Why Did They Do It Hobie Bobbitt We almost made it out alive. Learning about the Holocaust and Anne Frank are important for many different reasons. The three main topics I have are going to be about why you should study these two topics are it is a very educational thing to read a diary someone wrote in the middle of it all. The next is so you can know more about the history of it and the last is to see what people can really do to hurt other people. If you want to learn about a certain topic then it is a great way by reading a diary of someone in it.
Imagine how it feels to be stuck in a tiny, miniscule room for almost two years, not able to make a sound or movement and if heard by someone, death or concentration camp is the destination? The Diary of Anne Frank by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett is about a small family which consists of Anne, Margot, Mr. Frank, and Mrs. Frank who were in a shock of fear, and went into hiding during the Nazi occupation of the Netherlands. Over the course of the story other characters join the family into hiding such as Mr. and Mrs. Van Daan, and their son Peter. During the time of hiding, Anne kept a diary to write down all her thoughts, fears, and feelings and was later known to be the most important piece of literature from the times of the Holocaust. The story takes you through their everyday lives of hiding in the annex which also includes arguing and times of happiness.
It was on her 13th birthday that she got a diary. In her diary, she wrote about her friendships, crushes and her academic performance at school. Anne had an older sister named Margot, and they attended a Jewish school in Amsterdam. In this diary, the Franks moved to Netherlands from Germany because they feared prosecution. After the Germans invaded the Netherlands in 1940, the Franks, another family called the van Daans and Mr Russell hid in a small secret annex above Otto Frank’s, Anne’s father’s office.
