Marciano wanted to play a sport but boxing was not his first choice. “Failing to become a professional baseball player, Marciano turned to boxing and won 27 of his 30 amatuer bouts before he turned professional in 1947” (Randolph). Just because he failed at baseball didn 't mean he was going to quit. The main character in my book “Rod Sterling’s The Twilight Zone The Big Tall Wish” is Bolie Jackson and he is a real washed up boxer. His biggest fan is Henry a young neighbor of his with magical powers. The night of the big tall wish Henry mad for Bolie was Bolies comeback fight and Henry wanted Bolie to win. Right before the fight Bolie accidentally breaks the knuckles of his hand right before his big comeback fight. He is knocked down and just about to be counted out when he suddenly, magically switches places with the other boxer.
Amigo Brothers, is about two men named Felix and Antonio who are best friends. They both of think of each other as brothers because they are long best friends. They are in boxing together too.They train together and work out together, but they both have different coaches. One day they both heard that they had to fight each other in the ring. Which put them in shock and worried because in their entire boxing life they never had to fight each other before.
Growing up as a little boy in Coralville, Iowa, Jeff Voss had no idea what he would be capable of doing for his wrestling career. Jeff lived on a family owned farm his entire childhood. He went to high school in West High, Iowa, and competed in a number of sports; however, wrestling was the activity that Voss loved the most and had the most success. After high school Voss attended Wartburg College in Waverly, Iowa. He competed with the traveling wrestling team his entire career as a Wartburg Knight.

The twelve year old boy reported the theft to Louisville officer Joe Martin , but since Joe Martin was also a boxing trainer he suggested that Muhammad Ali learned how fight first, so he started training him and a month and a half later Muhammad Ali won his first fight.
