Romeo and Juliet is about two lovers who are trying to stay together while their families are tearing them apart. The film adaptation and the book are quite indistinguishable, but there are quite a few significant plot differences, such as the Paris death scene, Mercutio's death scene, and Romeo's letter. These differences in plot can truly show how different the emotions and drama of a film can be compared to a book. Near the end of the film, the boy Paris Juliet was supposed to marry instead of Romeo is killed by Romeo at Juliet’s grave. Romeo buys poison from a pharmacist to kill himself at Juliet’s grave. At Juliet’s grave, he is interrupted by Paris, who was also at the grave to see Juliet. Paris knew Romeo was banished, so he confronted him, saying he would turn him in. A fight broke out between them. Romeo eventually kills Paris while he says his final, "Oh, I’ve been killed. If you are merciful, you will open the tomb and lay me next to Juliet" (5. 3. 267). Mercutio is taken away by Benvolio, where he later dies while he says, "Take me inside some house, Benvolio, or I’ll pass out" (3. 1. 147). Out of anger, Romeo kills Tybalt, who is later banished from Verona. In the film adaptation, when Mercutio is stabbed, Romeo picks him up, and he dies in Romeo's hands on the beach. Its existence has disrupted the harmony of its home, and all are tired of it except the rival families themselves; at times, the families only seem to think of themselves. There is one fatal flaw that wounds the characters of this tale, whether physically or emotionally—and it is the feud itself.

After hearing that Juliet had died, Romeo disregards his sentence to banishment and rides to the Capulet tomb, where he kills Count Paris.
In the fight Romeo kills Paris ,but if he would have left the tomb he may have kept his life. Overall Romeo got in the way of Juliet and Paris’s marriage ruined.
