Stemming from Brave New World by Aldous Huxley came 1984 by George Orwell in which the novel represents a negative utopia in which there is a totalitarianism government called Big Brother in place. This mainly political novel followed three characters, protagonist Winston, lover Julia, and enemy in disguise O’Brien through a world in which they were ruled by a extremely oppressive government that watched their every move through telescreens consequently arresting its citizens for any sign of opposition to the Party in which Big Brother governs.
