During their time in Birmingham Kenny,Byron,and joetta were warned not to go to Collier’s landing. Kenny decides he wants his own fantastic adventures so he goes to Collier's landing to swim. Kenny ends up getting into trouble and is starting to drown. Byron lucky can in time can sve Kenny, By was so scared Kenny had drowned that when he got him out of the water he was kissing him on the head. This shows how even though Kenny could be annoying and not listen to byron when he says not to go somewhere possibly losing a brother would be hard on By and may make him get into even more trouble cause Kenny isn’t there to stop him.
The Investigation is a dramatic documentary of the Frankfurt War Crimes trials during the 1960s based on actual evidence from the trial. Weiss strips the trial down to its most essential features and converts it into a powerful play. It consists of extracted testimonies from numerous witnesses and defendants, including moments of examinations and cross-examinations conducted by the prosecutors and defense counsel. The nine unnamed witnesses represent the millions of individuals affected by the Holocaust. They were brought forth to testify to the barbarity of Auschwitz.
Firstly, throughout the novel, Byron makes some very dangerous decisions that provide ample reason for his parents to send him away. One of his dangerous actions is bullying his siblings. Byron regularly harasses Kenny by physically punching him, which could have caused physical or emotional harm. Another action that demonstrates his dangerous behavior is when he fights with younger students. One time in the book, Larry Dunn stole Kenny’s gloves and bullied him by smashing snow into his face.
Motivation is evoked when one feels so strongly about an idea, he or she will go any extend to accomplish it. Other people can lead the individual by example as well. John Proctor exclaims once again about the significance of holding his name. He also recognizes the actions and bravery of others before him: ““Proctor, with a cry of his whole soul: “Because I am not worth the dust on the feet of them that hang! To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee is a very interesting book and Ms. Waugh should read this because it basically relates to the world now other than in the 1930’s when this book was written. For example, in the book a black man named Tom was accused of raping a white women and of course back then racism still existed and because the whole jury was only filled with white people he was charged guilty. Another reason why Ms. Waugh should read this book because it shows how back than there government was messed up with racism against people who weren’t there color and that is how I believe our government is now but much worse. The narrator which is Scout a girl at age 4 who has a brother named Jeremy or Jem for short at age 6, their father Atticus is a lawyer and their Mother died they were young, and they live in Maycomb, Alabama.

Motivism is determining the rightness or wrongness of an action based on the motive for said action. The motive for Manson 's actions stems from his hatred and lack of understanding of society, saying "I look at the things that you do, and I don 't understand" (Manson). By saying this Manson is sharing with the court that his ruthless killings are a direct reflection of what is wrong with society. This strategy can be somewhat convincing, showing that the way you act can be a reflection of the interactions that you have with people in society. I thought The Watsons go to Birmingham-1963 by Christopher Paul Curtis was an outstanding book. It was very slow at first, just getting to know the characters. Even though it was slow, it really helped add to the emotion of the book. It showed how close they were as a family and what they were willing to do for eachother. However, it got exciting when Byron started getting in trouble.
The morning of December 5th, 1952 was no different than any former day in London, England for Barbara Fewster and her fiancé. The air was frigid and there was fog just like any other day. After she woke up and got ready for dance class at the Sadler’s Wells Theatre Ballet, she put on her normal dance attire and sauntered toward the door. The only difference today, in this 24 year old’s life, was that she had to meet her fiancé for dinner with a conductor. Around 6pm she headed to meet her fiancé at a restaurant near Hampstead Hill, when there was already a slight fog.
I am pretty sure he would have not done that with Byron unless he threatened to kill him. Another example is when he laughs with the bus on the Larry Dunn joke at Rufus; he is willing to fix his relationship. Also, as much as he hates Larry Dunn, when By is beating him up he feels bad for him because he knows know body deserves this. Also when everybody is cheering on By, he walks away.

In Robert Louis Stevenson’s mystery novel, Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, the Victorian Era influences certain characters actions throughout the book. It is human nature to want to do the opposite of what is expected of you.
Nellie Bly was the penname of Elizabeth Cochran Seaman (1864-1922), a trailblazer in the field of investigative journalism, not just for the fact she was a woman but due to the nature of her work. Bly was known for breaking down gender barriers and taking on daring assignments. Her most famous work was “Ten Days in a Mad-House," published in 1887, her full account of how she went undercover to reveal the harrowing conditions and abuse facing the patients of the Women's Lunatic Asylum on Blackwell's Island in New York City. Her work inspired significant reforms in the treatment of mentally ill patients and helped to advance the women’s rights movements in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. Is Sherlock Holmes doing what's best for the people of London or is he above the law in his own way? Throughout the stories and tales of Sherlock Holmes, the constant recurrence of catching the villain and solving the case is apparent throughout Holmes’s legend, but is he really doing anything to save the people of his city and stopping crime? Holmes’s mythos always starts with a crime seen through Dr. Watson’s eye, and we see the conclusion of the case through however the crime is never stopped before hand. Within the book, The Improbable Adventures of Sherlock Holmes, The detective always uses the crime as a starting point to the mystery however he never prevents a life to be lost before the crime is committed.
