As soon as Hamilton arrived in America he began to investigate the ever-growing tensions between England and America. One of Hamilton’s first known political pieces was on the Boston Tea Party in which he endorsed the unity of colonies and denounced the port closure and un-fair taxations. After this he started to gain a reputation for publishing anti-British pieces. Another well-known piece were the Farmer Refuted essays in which he insisted on colonial unity with an extreme confidence in his views.

I would have voted for Alexander Hamilton because from a young age you were able to tell that he was smart, well thought out, and extremely disciplined in every choice he made. And so when he entered the government this planning and knowledge of money and spends really helped to evolve the financial plan of the United States to what it is now. Federalism was created based on the idea of having shared power in the government as opposed to having one person or group having all the power. As a strong federalist, Alexander Hamilton thought the only way that the federal government could get the economic supports was to make those businessmen believed that they absolutely would earn the interests from the government. Therefore, Hamilton started his economic plans. First, he wanted to government to pay oft national debt, because it was the way to consolidate the credits. The government already had owed a lot money to those people. Then, his proposal was to pay the debt which was in the country, to pay the government bonds in full, so citizens would not lose the confidence to the government, and this way would help to reduce some resistance for the center.

As a politician, as a revolutionary war hero, and the first treasury secretary, Hamilton dedicated his life and intellect to unifying and strengthening the United States. Hamilton in truth did perhaps more than any other one person to secure the power of the American Union. Though he was never president, he was a hero deemed as a true founding father, title he kept till his death.
While a literary device, tragic heroes also appear in real life. A perfect example of a real life tragic hero is Alexander Hamilton, the first Secretary of the Treasury. This modern tragic hero started life as an orphan in poverty, living in the Caribbean, but his elevated character of exceptional literary skills, wit and progressive political ideas eventually landed him a spot as one of the most influential people in the United States. Alexander Hamilton had a positive hamartia, as he refused to remain quiet about the injustices of his country, oblivious to the danger it created for him and his family. The downfall of Hamilton occurred gradually.
