Harrison Bergeron is a dystopian short story .set in the year 2081 where the government seeks equality for all the citizens restraining them with handicaps, one man Harrison Bergeron escapes prison after being imprisoned for plotting to overthrow the government and then was killed by the hands of Diana Moon Grampers. Due to government regulations, Harrison’s intelligence and fiscal abilities led him to realizing what the government was doing with the society and planned to overthrow them and eventually his death. Harrison Bergeron, after escaping prison went to a ballerina’s show that was being broadcasted on live T.V. and was shot by the handicapper general. Diana Moon Glampers killed Harrison Bergeron. “It was when Diana Moon Glampers, the handicapper general, came into the studio with a double barreled ten-gauge shotgun.
