While I think that most people have discredited the idea that body types can be directly associated with crime, I do think there are some trends that may be used to make connections, all while keeping in mind the idea that correlation does not equal causation. As far as determining my body type, due to the nature of the sport which I participate it makes this a fairly difficult question. I’m definitely not frail, but as a cyclist, I definitely have much more muscle mass in the lower body than the upper. I don’t really fit the description of an ectomorph, due to the lack of fragility, but I wouldn’t say that I’m a naturally muscular individual, so I’m not a mesomorph. I’m definitely not an endomorph as “soft and round” are two words that I would not use to describe myself. With that said, I guess that I have to describe myself as fitting into the balanced category.
For my second post on the subject of comedic shows I’ll write about the last one I binge watched on Netflix: "Bob’s Burgers."
Who claims to be Americas best selling frozen pizza? The name that has revolutionized the world of pizza, Totinos. Totinos is a family based business that started an epidemic of pizza making. In life some feel the need to prove something to others. That they are better, stronger, or even more intelligent. Whatever the case may be people will go through extreme measures to prove themselves. But who do we really need to prove anything to? Is it our parents? Friends? Enemies? Or is it even ourselves? Chris McCandless, deceased adventurer from “Into the Wild”, underwent many obstacles that seems highly ridiculous. Certain physical and mental challenges that could have prevented, Chris decided to do defying the chance of death or severe injury. But the real misunderstanding is who was Chris proving his manhood too?
Don’t even get me started on the American food industry! The american food industry is one of the only food industries in the whole wide world that favors money over the health of its citizens. The food that most Americans eat is processed crap, if you can even call it food! How many of you have eaten popcorn, chips, candy, or crackers in the last week? The amount of chemicals in the food we eat as a country on a daily basis is freaking ridiculous. Azodicarbonamide and Triacetin are just two chemicals found in our food. We should not need a doctorate degree in order to pronounce ingredients in the junk we call food. Not only is the food industry putting chemicals in our food, but the FDA is allowing these chemicals to g in our food without knowing the
On April 25th, 1980 Bobby James Moore and two accomplices robbed a grocery store in Houston, Texas. During the robbery, Moore shot and killed the store clerk, a 76-year-old man named James McCarble and was consequently convicted of capital murder and sentenced to death. Moore appealed in both state and federal habeas relief courts and was granted relief by a federal court in the Fifth Circuit after arguing that precedent established in Atkins v. Virginia applied to his case. The habeas court granted relief based on the Atkins argument but the Court of Criminal Appeals of Texas, reversed the ruling stating that Moore was not intellectually disabled based on Ex Parte Briseno and a 1992 definition of intellectual disability. In 2014 Moore filed a writ of certiorari arguing that his constitutional rights have been violated within his 8th Amendment protection against “cruel and unusual punishment” and in combination with the 14th Amendment’s due process clause which he believes to have been violated due to the delay of his sentencing, having lasted
Many people claim to follow the religion of Christianity and all of his sayings. These people claim that they are truly Christians however their actions prove otherwise. These types of people are usually called nominal Christians. Olaudah Equiana argues that these people are nominal Christians who don’t believe in the true religion. By doing unchristian like things kidnapping young Africans like Olaudah from their home to unknown lands, only thinking of wealth instead of thinking about the life’s they were affecting, and forcefully removing Native Americans from their homes.
The Gold Coast may never sleep, but even our vibrant city enjoys a collective rest to focus on the race that stops the nation. The Melbourne Cup is more than just a horserace, it’s about the spectacle, the glamour, and the companionship (even when that companion is your slightly too tipsy workmate, cheering for the horse she bet against). Of course, you don’t have to be in Melbourne to appreciate the Cup; it’s a national phenomenon, to be run vicariously wherever you find yourself (don’t be scared, the exercise will do you good. Who knows, you might even win!). So, here’s your guide to the Four Fs of Gold Coast Melbourne Cup Day:
The documentary, Food Inc., takes a deeper look at the food industry and how it has changed over the years. The McDonald brothers played a huge part in changing the food industry forever. The brothers began to run their restaurant in a factory style. Each worker only had one specific job to do. Because the workers were assigned simple tasks, they were all paid a low wage and were easily replaced. The factory style restaurants had positive and negative sides. The positives were fast, good-tasting food. However, the negatives were much more prevalent. McDonalds became a chain restaurant that appeared all over the United States. The owners wanted their food to taste the same at all locations. This was achieved by purchasing all their meat and
diners’ expectations include health, entertainment and unique offerings when eating out, although price is still a key consideration.

For a will, the sugar-sweetened drink has been taxed and are improving people diet and there is a lot of research on junk food is taxed and how it can also improve people diet. In places were sugar drinks have been taxed the person paying for there drink is taxed but for junk, food researcher has shown that taxing the people will have no impact. If people are not taxed than manufacturers should be taxed, and studies have shown when manufacturers are taxed than they are more likely to increase prices which will stop people from buying junk food and look for healthier food. Junk food has caused an increased rate of obesity and one way the government is trying to fight this is by having fat taxes which tax just unhealthy food and sugar-sweetened drinks.
