Having Flaws doesn’t mean they are Flawed Everyone wants to fit in. People go to great lengths just to fit in. By changing the way they dress, act, look, pushing their true self aside, and by pretending to be who they think they should be instead of who they are. For most of her life, this hasn’t been a problem for Dahlia. She’s the same as everyone else so fitting in came easily. Everyone her genome is identical and programed for one simple task. If Dahlia acts out of line or has a flaw, she will get recalled. She has not given a second thought about being flawed, until she meets Trigger. Dahlia is constantly thinking about Trigger which, according to her society, is a flaw. No one is supposed to be even remotely interested in anyone from the defense academy so the fact that she is makes her different from everyone else. Dahlia is so interested in Trigger, even though she knows that her and Trigger “ can’t meet again, and the very fact that I want to is evidence that something is wrong with me” (Vincent 51). She does not tell anyone about Trigger except for her best friend, and is really trying hard to suppress her feelings since she fears that management “ can uncover whatever genetic flaw makes me prone to arrogance and personal pride” (Vincent 51). She lives in constant fear that people will hurt her friends because she is different, so she doesn’t even embrace who she is. Instead of being proud of who herself, she views personal pride as a bad thing. This shows that flaws should be embraced because when Dahlia hides her flaws and pretends to be like everyone else, she is not unique at all. Dahlia really focuses on the apple and notices that “ its red and round like all the others growing in the branches of the same tree, it is subtly different than all of them” (Vincent 247). She is amazed at the taste and look of this apple since she is not used to trying food grown in the wild. She describes the apples taste as “wild” and “Like earth and wind” (Vincent 247). Then, she kisses Trigger and does not feel bad about it at all unlike in the past when she had to hide that she liked him. In this moment she is able to be happy with who she is and does not want to go back to the car only to resume her role as a different person again. In this thrilling suspense, the reader can unravel the truth through various examples of Rebecca's harsh, cruel, and evil truth, making it evident to the reader that Rebecca was not only cruel but had much influence over those around her, including her husband, Manderly, and regular civilians.
Speaking up takes courage and trust, Even though Melinda spoke up, she was betrayed after that. After Melinda told her friend, Rachel what had happened and who did it, she was betrayed. Furthermore, she also has problems with her friends .A problem with Melinda 's friends is that she gets annoyed with Heather because she talks way too much. Also, most of her old friends don 't talk
No running away, or flying, or burying, or hiding. ” It is without a doubt that this is a dynamic character because it clearly identifies Melinda’s development. Rather than being a static character, she is able to overcome her anxiety, PTSD, and fear in order to accept the truth of what happened to her. Throughout the story, she is presented as an extremely silent person.
She inspired them because of her harsh forced cut smile, the struggling actress was mutilated just like Jeff the Killer does to his innocent victims and the Joker copied her because he mimics some of the things that happened to her he does to his own victims. The Black Dahlia murder was a sinister way to end someone’s life, and the Joker and Jeff the Killer frequently do those same acts to their victims to make them suffer more than you would think, the only difference in these cases are that two are fake as well as boys. In all honesty, looking back the death of the Black Dahlia is more harsh and mysterious because the killer was never found but in these fiction stories the villain is already

He always seemed kind, funny, and insightful, and when he found himself in a bad financial situation, she loaned him money.

While reading the story, you can tell in the narrators’ tone that she feels rejected and excluded. She is not happy and I’m sure, just like her family, she wonders “why her?” She is rejected and never accepted for who she really is. She is different. She’s not like anyone else
She was an isolated soul that was made to believe she should be kept hiding from the outside world. Being discriminated against her looks not only brought her will to live down but caused her to see the world a place that she did not belong in. This caused her to have depression. A person should not be treated for how they look or how they are. Doing things such as discriminating or isolating a person could very well lead them to believe that they have no part or say in the world they live in.
