In 1921 following the War of Independence, The Anglo-Irish Treaty was signed establishing the Irish Free State, which would grant Ireland limited autonomy as a dominion of Great Britain and have equal status as that of the other dominions. However the Anglo-Irish Treaty had certain conditions that bitterly divided Irish politics. These included the “treaty ports”, the decision for Northern Ireland to “opt-out”, the crown being represented by a governor general and most notoriously the “Oath of Allegiance”. As a result the 1922 Constitution was heavily influenced by the limitations of the treaty. Eamon De Valera strongly opposed it and resigned as President and sought re-election but was defeated by Arthur Griffith and Michael Collins who then began drafting the Constitution.
The Irish Republican Brotherhood tried to take a number of central rules in Dublin. They tried revolution against Britain during war time because in that stage country was not in stable and they took the chance by going against for the right but the rebels were defeated by British army and executed the leaders. Many people were killed during the uprising and the four leaders mention in the poem ‘Easter 1916’ was executed. The Irish Republican Brotherhood was lesser in number and was secret revolutionary body to establish independent in Irish nation. The poem Easter 1916 by William Butler Yeats and Irish Revolutionary Brotherhood by Thomas MacDonagh show the same theme that is colonization that is done to get independent in the country by colonizing other country for once independent.
Political ‘swing-states’—so named for the oral battles Presidential candidates wage to garner votes during election season—would become literal battlegrounds as armies fight to take control of the region. The entirety of what defines American society and culture would be thrown into chaos. Now, take this conflict and replace the Republicans and Democrats with the North and South. Push it back a couple hundred years. Welcome to the American Civil War.
The fateful years of 1914 to 1918 was a crucial time not only for the world, also for the United States of America. In the year of 1912, Woodrow Wilson was elected as the twenty-eighth president, and soon many new responsibilities and forks in the road would arise during his reign. After the fateful World War I started, President Wilson put all his efforts to stay neutral between the two rivaled powers; the Allies or Triple Entente and the Central Powers. That was until the year of 1917, when America made its way into the war siding with the Allied powers. With stronger ties with Great Britain and France, the American troops greatly benefitted and aided the Allied powers in battle.
These were as follows the crown and the succession, peace, and war, the defence forces, treaties with foreign states, titles and honours, treason, trade and navigation, posts and telegraphs, lighthouse, coinage, weights and measures, copyright, and patents. Debates over this newly introduced bill began and lasted over fourteen nights. The debate also gave doubt to whether Home Rule would provide long term settlement in Anglo Irish affairs. The Ulster unionists were the most against the bill. Colonel Waring saw Home Rule supporters as “potential rebels and traitors”.

The two world wars have distinct periods and durations. As a comparison, the World War II lasted longer. Triggers and causes In World War I, the trigger was the assassination of Archduke Francis Ferdinand of Austria in June 1914 and the causes were militarism, imperialism, nationalism and the alliance system.

Her party won the 1983 election as well as the following 1987 election and continued Thatcherism. The two opposing countries were not the only one affected by the war. USA was seen sending supplies to UK which violated the treaty signed with Latin American countries called the Rio Treaty and marked the failure of the treaty. This prompted Mexico to resign the treaty in 2002 (BBC). On March, 2013, Falkland Islanders were asked to vote to be or not to be with UK as an overseas territory.
The official end of the American Revolution was the Treaty of Paris in 1783, signed as an official acknowledgement of American Independence. After the war, the countries of the world all recognized the new country's independence. The newborn county, proudly named the United States of America, went through some difficult times, Even some of our greatest accomplishments, such as the Constitution and the Bill of Rights, have been vastly affected by this revolutionary
Throughout the years it’s often quoted that “One man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter”. The characteristics that define terrorists are if an organisation is attacking specific groups, committing violence, wanting to change government policies and they do not form part of the government structure. The Irish Republican Army covered all these characteristics, in 1972 the IRA set off 22 bombs in Belfast within a space of an hour. The IRA also declared that their fight was not aimed at innocent victims but focused on government officials or anyone who worked or was linked to Government. The reason for these scare tactics was to force the end the British rule in Northern Ireland.
