There were many similarities and differences between Samurai and Knights, but I believe that the differences are greater than the similarities, in other other words I believe that there are more similarities than differences. The Samurai were honorable warriors in Japan that were loyal to his Daimyos. The Knights were honorable warriors in Europe who were loyal to his lord. I’m going to analyze documents related to social position, training and armor, and their beliefs. To better determine if the differences are greater than the similarities.
Knights and samurai are very similar. They were warriors during the age of feudalism who protected and were loyal to their lord. But while they are incredibly similar, who would win in a battle? However despite these similarities, in a one, in a one one one fight, the advantage would go to the samurai since their armor, code, and training are superior to that of the knights.
The two main similarities between the samurai and knights are the alliances with the warriors and the master and the starting to train at a young age. According to both of the PBS series passage boxes in Document C, it states, “Samurai were expected to live according to bushido... stressed loyalty to one’s master... Squires continued with weapon training…they would accompany their master knight into battle.”

Samurais and knights The samurais and the knights have a lot of differences, but they also have a lot in common. This was going on during the medieval time. It was going on between the samurais and the knights. It was going on in two places, in japan and in europe. Were similarities between the samurais and the knights were greater than the differences.
Tokugawa Japan + Medieval Europe Medieval Europe and Tokugawa Japan lived in seclusion to each other, and yet there were many uncanny similarities between Tokugawa Japan and Medieval Europe. In Medieval Europe there were many key features of the social system that were introduced at the time. The social system of Medieval Europe was called Feudalism. Feudalism puts the King in charge of everything and everyone, with barons and nobles underneath him. The nobles provide loyalty and knights to the king in return for land to control.
The knights had a code they lived by. Honor, bravery, chivalry, and courtesy. This code was called knightly chivalry. The monarchy also brought the artisan class and changed the attitude toward the church and religion.
For Griffing, in my opinion claim that karate and kung fu are similar because each is an umbrella term for several different variations. Karate and kung fu are different in style, movement, technic and the way they dress. However, the differences outweigh the similarities. For example, karate have four style on its official list, but kung fu have hundreds of categories based on type of movement.
Samurai and Knights: Were the Similarities Greater Than the Differences? Japan and Europe had unique lifestyles, one part being its military. It consisted of archers, who wielded bows and skilled swordsmen, called samurai. In Europe however, their military consisted of archers and swordsmen called knights. These two military figures share many similarities between each other, outweighing the differences.
People think that the samurai’s code was extremely strict because the samurai was strong and powerful and had excellent leaders. The samurai’s code was not as strict as professors believe. First the code will be explained, second the people the samurai fought will be shown, and lastly reasons the warriors code contradicted their actions. One of the most common rules or code is respect and honor.
The samurai from the early medieval time from Japan, and the knights from medieval Europe had a lot of similarities, and a lot of differences, which I’m going to be discussing. My essay will be talking about how the samurais are more prepared and can handle things under pressure. Some of the things I’m going to discuss in this essay is, which group's training was more effective for preparing warriors and, which group was better prepared for physical and mental trials of battles and war. The samurai from the early medieval time are more effective when it comes to preparing for battles.
Also knights learned to ride ponies and practiced fighting with wooden swords. Their armor are very different from each other but they have some similarities too. Like, They both used bows and guns ended armor for them in

The Samurai had lived in Feudal Japan, and knights had lived in different parts of Europe. They both had different culture ideas, and of course different language, and yet also they both had similarities of them both. These are Social positions, Military training and armor, and Code of Honor.
A samurai, one of Japan’s most fierce warriors, came from many years ago. There are many samurai warriors that have made history and are now famous samurai warriors. One example of a famous samurai warrior is Yamagata Masakage. Yamagata Masakage is know as one of the “Twenty-Four Generals of Takeda Shingen”. He was a Japanese samurai warrior of the Sengoku period.
