Eyewear are items and accessories worn on or over the eyes, for beautification, fashion, improvement of visual acuity and protections against hazard such as environmental hazards, work hazards.
Eyewear comes in different forms and shapes depending on the purpose of the eyewear. Glasses which is also called eyeglasses or spectacles, sunglasses and contact lenses and the utilitarian type for eye protection, goggles are the most common types of eyewear.
The Glasses or spectacles are for fashion, beauty and adornment purpose and a few of them for correction. This is about the most common type. It is however a little expensive depending on the brand. The Sunglasses are primiarily designed for the protection of the eyes against sun. However, it also used for beauty. Individuals wear it for fashion and to cover their eyes. Those who do sports like swimming, aircraft piloting and space travelers wear Sun shades for protection. The use of eyewear differs from one person to another and also depending medical advice.
