Driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol is not only illegal, it is extremely dangerous. You are putting yourself and innocent people on the road at risk when you engage in such behaviors. You can cause the death or serious injury of other people who were simply in the wrong place at the wrong time. This is why the police are always on the watch for people who appear to be driving under the influence. Their goal is to get them off the roads before such accidents can happen. If you are pulled over under the suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol you will be given a roadside test. There is a blood alcohol limit in most states that you have to be under or you can be charged with a DWI.
