Abstract— In the world different control algorithms for the regulation of irrigation canals have been developed and applied. Each of them is been differentiated by control systems. In this paper the canal automation system is done by using Crouzet PLC. An automated canal operation is done through the programming & PLC. Millanium-3 Crouzet PLC is used to control canal operation. FBD programming is done for the canal control system. Canal automation is becoming widely used to improve the operation of canal systems and to conserve water. The water can be provided to the farmer for particular amount of time. Only farmer need to do message & then software automatically checks whether required amount of water level in canal is present or not? Depending …show more content…
