Daisy was an extremely arrogant person. Daisy showed her arrogance by the way she thought so highly of herself and that she was better than everybody else. In the movie Daisy tells Gatsby that “a rich girl can never be with a poor man.” When Daisy said this she was portraying that she couldn't risk being with him because it would make her look bad.
